Great campground and seniors with federal park pass get a 50% discount. Great views, clean with power and water. The driving ares with-in the sites could be a little better but we managed. We would stay here again.
When we pulled in we were met by the host at the gate and escorted to a wonderful site and guided into the site. We were told to check-in when we had time. We setup, walked the dogs, rested a little and went to the office to check-in. They were very friendly and helpful and told us about a great restaurant. The roads were narrow but the corners were very wide. No problems while we were leaving with the toad hooked up, (55+ feet).
Very nice park, wide and long spaces with paved patio. Grass all around the site. Very friendly and helpful staff. I found nothing wrong with this park and I call it a park not a campground because it is.
Nice campground with a great little nature trail dog walk. Great staff and they gave us a ARRP discount since we don't have a KOA card. The campground needs to invest in a cable system. We just did a over-night stop on the way home. I would stay here again.
The check-in was the start of this unfortunate experience. We were quoted a price when we called plus we have the Good Sam’s card and would receive a discount. The total bill came to $37.82 with the discount . However, the price list on the outside check-in menu was what we were charged without a discount. As stated earlier by another camper the staff can’t do math or just over charge their guest. We thought we found our spot only to find out we missed it by one spot due to poor marking of the spaces. We were in a “extra large” space, but we found it very short and narrow. However, it was larger than some of the others. Folks, this is desert camping, and the aisles should be wide, and the space spread out. The lack of trees and abundance of dust and gravel didn’t bother us. The wi-fi was good as was the cable, good channel selection. The dog walk had a few stickers in it, and the dogs got a paw full of stickers; so sad for their little feet. When we got back from the caverns I was called down for driving too fast, and I was. Also I was told not to drive through his sites; again the sights are so poorly marked it’s hard to tell where they are. They also have signs posted in the area, and I quote, “Slow your ass down.” Not funny. Anyway we were getting ready to leave at 12:00 noon, which is the posted checkout time. We had dumped and un-hooked, jacks were up and the motor was running when the office called wanting to know when we planned to leave. This call came in at 12.00.01. When we checked in we talked about out tight time frame and were told that it would not be a problem. I feel this campground is a good place to avoid.
