We were first time campers in a Cruise America rental motorhome. We stayed here as it was close to the RV return point. The site was well wooded and the staff were very helpful. We had no sewer but there was a dump station easily available. The comfort station was clean and fresh. The "Water Park" was essentially a large pool with some small slides for the children, although our teenage boys enjoyed it. We would probably stay again.
We were first time campers in a Cruise America rental motorhome. This site seemed a little expensive before we arrived, but with all the facilities and activities found to be available when we arrived, seemed not overly priced. Our pitch was easy to get to (we were escorted) and into. The view from our pitch was great looking over the site to the mountains. Both pools were clean and sizeable, our boys enjoyed the mini golf and the water slide, although I will argue with the camps claim that it is 400 feet long. The comfort station was clean and fresh and the store was well stocked. There is no reason why we would not stay here again.
We were first time campers in a Cruise America rental motorhome. We loved this site! Clean, peaceful, very welcoming and our pitch, although in the middle of the woods, was level. The comfort station was clean and fresh, the shop appeared well stocked and the staff were really friendly. We had the pool to ourselves both times we went, the mini golf again kept our boys happy and the fact that we could build a fire for our dinner got us all excited. As for the road in, having lived in the hills of Devon, these roads were practically a freeway in comparison. Big rigs seemed to come in with no problem while we were here. We would stay here again in an instant.
This was a clean and welcoming site. The lady in reception was extremely friendly and very helpful with regards to visiting Williamsburg. Our pitch was easy to find and level. The pool was sizeable and clean, the mini golf kept our boys happy as did the excellent "Hippo Slide." The comfort station was in very good order, clean and fresh. The drive to Colonial Williamsburg takes around 20 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.
We were first time campers in a Cruise America rental motorhome. The site was easy to find and the staff were efficient if not especially friendly. The entire site was full and the pitches seemed fine, but after further experience, were obviously close together. The comfort stations were clean and functional although the toilet cubicles were tiny. We are a small family of four and all of us struggled to fit comfortably. The high score is due to the close proximity of a fabulous beach which was a 30 second walk over the dunes. It kept our children happy for an entire day. We did not want to do much cooking and found two reasonable restaurants within a five minute walk from the camp gate. We would stay here again.
We were first time campers in a Cruise America rental motorhome. Due to some very bad traffic we arrived very late at 22:00. We had phoned ahead and the staff explained how to check in late. The information was here and we found our site without any problems. We only stayed for an hour the next morning but the comfort station was clean and functional. The park was quite empty and peaceful and the staff were very helpful in pointing out the best and quickest route to our next stay.
