The park is about 13 miles from Historic Savannah and is just a few miles from the highway. It is a little "tired" but is clean and everything works. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is lots of shade which makes it more comfortable when warm. They offer a $28 Grayline Hop on/Hop off tour of Savannah which includes pick up and drop off at the park. Well worth it. Multiple gas stations and Super Walmart is just a few miles away. Price includes Good Sam discount.
This is a no-frill rv park, good for an overnight stay. It is located about 7 miles off of Hwy 78/22. Friendly check in staff, clean bathrooms, and the WiFi and TV (antenna) worked fine. It was very quiet; there is a small road adjacent to the park but there wasn't any traffic at night. There are two levels of the park. We stayed on the lower level which is basically just a tree surrounded field. The pads are a little unlevel but nothing a leveler block can't take care of. There are some full timers. The ones we spoke with were very nice and they keep their spaces tidy. They charge by rig length. We have a 19' trailer and it cost us $22.50 with Good Sam card.
$16 rate reflects Passport America membership. We have been to Pendaries RV Park several times and keep coming back because it is a lovely park. Very nice front office staff with a great sense of humor. Spacious, level sites in a forested area. The bathrooms and showers are sparkling clean. They have a small store for necessities - be sure to shop for groceries before coming as there is nothing nearby. There is a lovely golf course with a clubhouse restaurant. The park needs to refresh the activities area - horseshoes, picnic tables, etc - but we still enjoyed playing horseshoes despite the play area needing some leveling. We'll be back!
A fairly typical RV park for Alaska; not especially attractive but very functional. It is off the main road so is quiet. Very nice and helpful owners and office staff. The bathrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. The park has a small store and book exchange. We'll stay there again on our trip home from Alaska.
$20 rate was an "early bird" rate...they had not formally opened but offered space anyway. The views are magnificent but the spaces needed some grooming and leveling...perhaps they would do it before formally opening. The park is very close to the Park's entrance which was a real plus. Nice long-term owners. Again, the views from the park are wonderful. We'll go back on our trip home from Alaska.
We have stayed here two nights and will add another so we can spend more time at Denali Park. This RV park is one of the nicest in the area and features level and fairly spacious spaces. Very nice and knowlegable office staff. Clean laundry room with generous hours. We are eight miles north of Denali Park entrance; the office staff can help with Park info and reservations for various activities. Nice views!
We stayed two nights and recommend the park to other RVers. Helpful and polite office staff knowledgeable of the area. Mostly level spaces with gravel. It is a lot with few trees but fairly typical of Alaska Highway RV parks. Very clean (and newly renovated) bathrooms, showers and laundry room. Small store with RV supplies. Highway noise but quiets down in the evening. Owners seem to be putting a lot of energy into improvements. Located right outside of town, very convenient.
My husband and I spent 9 nights at the park and LOVED it. The park is extremely nice with spacious, flat sites with a million dollar view of the Catalina Mountains. The restrooms and grounds are extremely well maintained. Hiking trails are right outside the campground and grocery stores, Walmart, etc are less than a mile away. No wi-fi, but we had great cell phone reception via Verizon. It is a wonderful birding area so bring your binoculars. The night skies are wonderful, and the location is quiet. This is a great find, and we will be back. Reservations are a must if you want to be sure to get a site.
LoW-Hi RV Ranch is a nice, quiet RV park located 4 miles south of I-10. My husband and I stayed there two different times in a 2 week period. Everything was clean and in good condition. The sites are fairly narrow but are flat and graveled with some trees. There were quail and roadrunners outside our door. The location has great view of the Florida Mountains and is quiet. All the other RV parks we saw were right on the main road which is parallel to the highway. The $16 fee reflects the Passport Club price; normally it would have been $30.
Very nice RV park; very clean and well maintained. Lots of large shade trees and grassed areas. Has an onsite store with RV supplies and food, a book exchange library and DVDs for rent. Spaces are a little close together but it didn't bother us; we had a nice view. Only accepted cash or checks.
