This place is like a destination in itself with the water park theme and is definitely a big pull for kids as kids were everywhere. We spent one night passing through and would recommend it. Easy in and out and the spaces were very good size pull through. If you need a place for a family reunion, this place could be it as they have a lot of rental units (cabins) available as well as amenities. The only complaint we have is that their website does not show the spaces but centers in on the pool, parties, kids, etc. As someone who doesn't intend to use the pool and amenities, I really prefer to see photos of the types of spaces available for the RV.

Really liked this place. It is almost empty in the summer time, but very clean, super nice managers who were very helpful. The spaces are ample in size and the pull throughs are like 70 feet long; plenty long to park the RV and an over sized truck. It is close to shopping and the road noise is almost non-existent. They have a nice clean pool, laundry, and there is a park about 1/4 mile away for bike riding with paved bike trails. This place is a 10 in my opinion. Internet is fast and easy to log onto.

The people here were super nice. Very large grass sites that are easy in and easy out. They serve a breakfast if you want it. Water pressure was good and the sites were level. I recommend this park.

We loved the premium spots as they were large enough and had some separation between them and other spaces. The first night we stayed at a "preferred" spot, but it was almost impossible to get the 30 foot RV in there. I cannot imagine what I would have done if my rig had been 37 foot or longer. And, then there wasn't even room for my truck in my spot. I would not recommend staying at this campground if you cannot afford the premium spots. The Wi-Fi does not extend to the campgrounds. If you don't bring your own Mi-Fi you need to get the free modem they will loan you and hook it up to your cable. We liked the 923 space. If you have a dog, it does appear that you get the less nicer spots. The ones we really liked are not available if you have a pet.

Very long spaces, nice people, no reservation was needed as park was only about 1/5 full early September. Great water pressure - use a regulator. Very fast wifi - no cable, but picked up about 10 digital stations off antenna. Very clean - no road noise at all - easy to get in and out. Definitely recommend it and definitely will return on another trip.

A quiet and very clean state park, on the honor system with full hookups (no cable), plus free, fast Wi-Fi internet. Nice level spaces with bbq grill and half of the spaces have a covered area for the picnic table. It's far enough out of Hobbs that the stars are very clear at night. We will definitely stay here again when in the Hobbs area. Just passing through and here for one night this trip.

I have a feeling this place is really busy in the winter, but in August: we were almost alone. It's a huge park. Plenty of level spaces, and the gate guard was super friendly and helpful. Very clean laundry and they have a pet only area. So that if you have pets, they park you in one section devoted to pets. Bunnies everywhere and our little dog loved barking at them. Caution on the water. When you first turn it on, let it run for 1 minute before hooking up to your filter or rig. Some of the spaces may go empty for months, building up dust, so let them run till clear. We will return to this site when returning to Phoenix area: as it was super clean and secure.

This is a remarkable park that we definitely intend to visit again. We spent 2 nights, partly due to no sewer and no dump station. But the solitude, super dark night (no street lights for 20 miles it seems), fantastic sunset and moon rise, along with the natural aspects makes this place special. We were surprised that we did pick up AT&T signal, so we had phone and internet (through our own Wi-Fi only). The park charges $14 per night for a pull through site with electric/water, plus $10 registration fee: so the price is really reasonable. We recommend this park and plan on visiting in the fall or winter. Oh yeah: do watch out for Rattlesnakes as there were 2. But the Rangers responded quickly to capture them and relocate them.

We spent 2 nights here and was impressed with the friendliness of the staff, price, great internet, plenty of TV channels and the sites were level. They didn't have a large dog area, but what they did have was clean and they provided bags. I had appointments in El Paso and we chose this one and very glad we did. We would definitely recommend this one in the future and plan on staying here when we return.
