The sites are spacious and wooded. The closer you camp to the lake, the louder the crowd can be. This lake is great for water sports. It is not over crowded and you don't have so many wild folks on the water.
Very wooded and spacious sites. You're not right up next to someone. The bathrooms are heated in the winter and air conditioned in the summer. They also have washers and dryers in the bathhouses. The roads could use some re-paving. They have a disc golf course throughout the campground and on the outer campsites, sometimes you have people playing right behind you. The trails are nice to do and the lake is very scenic. This is one of our favorite places to go in the spring and fall.
This was our second time to be at Disneyworld, the first time we stayed in an All Star hotel. The campground was awesome and even though you have the cooking and cleaning that comes with camping, we would definitely stay here again as opposed to a hotel. The sites were spacious and wooded. There were 2 stores and a restaurant. There was an outdoor movie theatre, showing disney movies every night. You could ride your bikes to the beach and watch fireworks every night and ferry to and from The Magic Kingdom. There were peacocks that roamed through the campground. There was so much to do that you didn't have time to do it all! We're looking forward to going there again someday.
Our vacation was revolved around Six Flags and touring St. Louis. I had visited the CG's website and seen other reviews and made my choice based on that. Overall, we were pleased with the campground, but the pool could be cleaner, the train got annoying after a while, and it was odd having a cemetery in the campground (that was a first!). Once we got used to the cemetery being there, we checked it out and it was interesting to see tombstones dating back to the 1800's. There was a man that died in the battle of Ft. Donelson, so we got a bit of a history lesson out of it. The CG staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to buy discounted Six Flags tickets there and saved quite a bit by doing so. The CG was shaded and had lots of level, pull through sites. They were close to each other, but we had quiet neighbors on either side. We would stay there again if doing another Six Flags vacation.
