My family liked this campground. Very friendly staff and we loved fishing. The pond was great. We went in early May just to get away, and the fish were jumping. We also liked being in the middle of the country. It was a great time all in all!
I have mixed feelings about this campground. We had a great time and it is very close to Hershey Park, so that is a big plus. However, this is side by side camping. I think you could reach out and touch your neighbor. I like more rustic camping. I think it is a little expensive, but we did have cable, which was a treat, since we usually do not take a TV with us and it so happened that it rained when we were there. Staff was very nice and overall we had a good time.
I love Knoebels and this was the first time in 20 years that we camped there. It is nice to be so close to the park and we had a great time. It is a little tight for me, I wish there were more trees separating the campsite, and I wish there was water at the sites. However, all and all it is a great place for the kids!
We just arrived home from our camping trip in the Poconos. We had a great time at the campground. The bathrooms were super clean and the staff were very friendly. I love going to a campground that has trees and is not a field. This was a true campground and allowed us to really enjoy nature. We even saw some deer, lots of chipmunks, turkeys, and rabbits during our stay. The sites can be tight if you do not know how to back in and it did take us a couple tries to get into our site, but it was very worth it. Our site had a beautiful rock wall and fire pit. My kids had a great time too. We hiked up to the tower and once you get up there, there are so many hiking trails to take. The swimming pool is only open for the afternoon, but the weather isn't really warm enough to go in the evening or morning. We had a great time and we booked another weekend for August. I would recommend this campground to anyone!
