This is for Elks members only. They have just updated (wide) the RV parking sites. Good level gravel with full hooks on 8 sites. Rate is now $20.00. We could not get the cable to work but that might be a work in progress. Verizon works great. Close to Regan library about 12 miles.
Great location of this park. It is right off Hwy 40 easy on/off so if you want to visit Grand Canyon it is a straight 45 min drive. Only 3 miles from Williams. Quiet, no freeway noise. A few trains do pass by during the day but not noisy. You just hear the rumble. Park is nice and clean has a train theme along with the motel. Pull through was easy and lots of room. Check in was easy. Verizon and Mi-Fi worked great. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for 3 nights. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We found our site to be a level, easy pull through. We were able to book tours at the office. Verizon worked good and Mi-Fi. Their Wi-Fi worked well also. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for 4 nights. It is a large level gravel parking lot with full hookups and lots of room. Verizon and Mifi work great. Lodge has Wifi inside. Good views and is close to Silver City and other sights. You must be an Elks member to camp here. We paid $15 a night. No cable, but were able to use our air antenna for 1 station we picked up.
We camped here for 2 nights. We were close to sights to see and old town Wilcox with you can walk to. Trains do go by about every 40 minutes but if you are tired enough you will sleep though most of the train noise. Nice large RV pull through sites and some back in sites. You must be a Elks member to say here. Dry camping is $10 and $15 for hook ups and the dump is by the lodge. We would stay here again. No reservations first come first served. Verizon and MiFi worked great.
We stayed here for 2 nites. Park is clean and the sweet smell of the orange blossoms. Our price with GS plus they take $2.00 additional off if you pay by check or cash. You usually get a bag of oranges to. Easy on/off hwy 40. Verizon and MiFi work good. We would stay here again.
We stayed here two nights. The lodge and RV are on visa with nice views but the wind blows all the time at least when we were here. It is right off of hwy 40 so you get some noise. The sites are dirt pull-throughs and almost level. Close to Oatman and downtown RT 66 fame. We would stay here again. You must be an Elk member to stay here.
Nice park easy on/off hwy. Grounds very neat and clean, staff very friendly too! No cable tv for those of us who don't have our own. Wifi in office for free. Verizon and Verizon MiFi work great. Our price was Passport America. Good for overnight or even if want to stay a long term abut 45 min from Phoenix. Pool was locked out in late afternoon not sure why. Tennis courts are there too. We would stay here again.
I agree with the previous review. I can add that the park is out in the middle of nowhere. So no traffic noise is a very quiet park. All sites are pull throughs and they escort you to the site. The sites have table and are staggered with are nice with space between. Great location for the most attractions in the area. Our rate reflected the Passport America for 1 week. They are also a Good Sam club too. We would stay here again.
We stayed for 8 days. Was clean but our only complaint was of other campers walking through our campsite as it was a shortcut! As stated before close to casino and Fountain Hills. Verizon and MiFi was good. Would stay here again but in another location not close to the showers. Laundry is excellent!
Our rate included Passport America for 4 nites. Park is located out a bit but close to Old Tucson Studio, Titan missile 22 miles and other attractions. Staff very friendly. Sites are level and you get good views of the mountains. Verizon cell and MiFi work good. No cable. Antenna not so hot. The park is clean and neat. We would stay here again
Great park very friendly staff. Lot of homemade crafts in office. Our rate was 13.25 Passport America for 1 nite. Great for 1 nite. Easy access. It is a desert location. Sometimes you get wind and dust. Verizon cell and Verizon MiFi worked great.
The staff is friendly. Park is very nice. Lots of shade trees and sites are spaced nicely with lots of lawn. Had a bit of trouble with leveling at our site as not too level. Verizon air card worked great. We would stay here again. Rate included a GS $5.00 coupon.
Good for overnight. Out in the open lots of gravel some shade. Found power under, didn't feel comfortable using a/c or microwave. Per our power meter was right at the lowest level to be safe. You get 5 cents off gas or diesel at their pumps. One plus it is right off 395 about 2 miles north of Lakeside. we had move once as the site was not level at all. Good cable and Verizon air card worked great. Felt 30.00 a night a bit high compared to other campgrounds. This not a GS or any other group has Woodall's sticker on the door.
Nice park, clean, quiet. Great access to Hwy. Close to town. Great vista view from park. Staff was very friendly and helpful about telling us about the Pendleton area. We would stay here again. We planned on 1 nite but there is a lot to see in town. Verizon air card worked great too.
Very nice park. Great Verizon air card and phone. Very clean and neat. Staff was very friendly checking in. Has a lawn and cement patio for your site. Pool and hot tub area is enclosed and you see the tiles on the walls tells a lot of history. This park of the Lewis and Clark trail and they have nice story stamped in the cement sidewalk. You can also get the jet boat trip right at the end of campground entrance very convenient. We stayed here 3 nights in a travel trailer. Oh one other thing the sites are set up you can pull in either way with connections on either side for you. Good power supply for A/C as it hot here this week. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for a week for the Rally and to tour the area. Park is clean, except if you camped near the mobile home park. Some of those need to be cleaned up. Those residents leave early in the morning to work and some have barking dogs. If you camp here ask for the upper lot that is much more of the RV park. That is the picture in the website. We booked in March for our July stay and got in the mobile park, mid section. Wi-Fi is spotty: had to go the laundry room to get even the weak signal.
We are here for 16 days. Great location for touring the surrounding areas. Sites are lots of space between rigs and green grass with picnic table. The way the sites are angled you are not sitting by the sewer hookups when outside. Nice new way to do a campground. Laundry room is good. The Wi-Fi can get bogged down when everyone is on. Staff is very helpful and the park is neat as a pin. River access is great too. They even provide chairs by the beach/river. Boat, kayak and canoe rentals are available. Only drawback is if your site is close to Hwy 95, which can be noisy.
We stayed overnight, it's great for that. Not much room between rigs, no tables. Sites are uneven but do have shade. Grounds are very nice with pool. A lot of resident's trailers in the outside circle but it was quiet with no trains or hwy noise. We would stay here again. There is a motel on the other side of the park. Easy access to the hwys.
Not to much to find wrong with this campground. Only 2 complaints: WiFi is weak as everyone is on and it cuts off/on we were there 5 days and 1 day I could not access at all. I used the office computer a couple of times. The enclosed pool, we did not use, as the chlorine smell was too strong for us just entering the room. Verizon worked good. Shuttle bus is great and timely even takes you into Cayonville. We would stay here again.
Easy on/off interstate 5. Close to Eugene/Springfield. Quiet no hwy or train noise. Lot of permanent residents on the grounds but they neat and tidy. WiFi, cable TV, Verizon all worked good. We stayed 2 nights and would stay here again.
Very clean, lots of space between sites the area is one huge lawn and full of trees with shade. Problem is the train runs along the campground all day and all night and HWY 97 is on the downslope so you hear the trucks jake-brakes! You are right on Columbia River and next to hwy 97 bridge to cross over to Oregon. You need to make reservations ahead of time but they do take first come first serve for that night if site is available prior to 2:00 p.m. If nothing is available there is another campground right next door which we found out later. We would camp here again good for 1 night layover.
Last review was pretty accurate except it was check yourself in. Someone comes in the afternoons and there is a caretaker, but is not here all the time. We did not see the reservation assignment list and went ahead and picked a spot and then had to move. Very noisy HWY during the day but is ok at night. You can get some TV on antenna, cell (Verizon) worked. WiFi was slow when everyone was trying to get on. We have XM radio and it was good in our location that we had to move to! The park is good location for the sites to see as you can walk or even bike to Leavenworth. We would stay here again.
Great park, green grass at your site and picnic tables. Very clean and neat. The owners have taken pride and you see it. Verizon cell worked great and WiFi was fast and reliable. We stayed for 5 days and would come back here again.
The park is way out there by Eagle Lake, not in Susanville. Park is clean, and stall is friendly. The squirrels are fun to watch; they keep you entertained! Great fishing location. If want peace and quiet this is the place! It is serene.
The owners are very nice and very helpful. They seem to be doing all work themselves which is why projects seem to be unfinished. There is noise from Hwy 5 but it seemed to quiet down at night. Park has some residents, but is very quiet. Pool was clean, and we did swim. Location was good to Shasta Caverns, Shasta Lake, and Shasta Dam. It was about in the middle in either direction. We would stay there again.
We were only here for 1 night. This ark seems to be full of long term leases. Staff was very friendly and the office closes at 5 pm. Perfectly easy to get on and off of interstate 80. Would use this park again for passing through, otherwise if we were staying longer: no. There was Wi-Fi for a fee.
We stayed only one night. The sites were not level and all are gravel, and the campground is on a slight slope. At check-in, the staff was not friendly: when we went to give them our charge card, they had already accessed it! Wi-Fi is available for a fee. You can go into the kitchen/lounge area and use the office Wi-Fi. Which, for that day the internet was down. Staff was not helpful with that either. They were too busy and made you feel you were bothering them: no smiles or welcomes.
This campground was good and our space was somewhat level: we backed into a open space. Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions. Wi-Fi was only available at the office which was a small problem.
We found this campground quiet and clean, and the staff was very helpful. It's close to shopping and a city bus for $2.00 a day. Cody is so small you can get everywhere very quickly and the campground is out of the main other campgrounds. We would stay at this campground again.
