Don't be put off when going through the bad area to get to the RV park. The park is gated and they give you a remote control and a key to the bathroom. There are some long termers here but all were friendly. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a safe place in a big city.
This KOA had flat clean slab sites with grass and a picnic bench. The store was well equipped and had the right fuse we needed. The management gave us directions and invited us to the numerous activities the camp had to offer. There was a river walking trial and BBQ. Many families were here but the park was large and quiet where we were. I wish we could have stayed longer.
We camped in June. The sites are at lake level and are wet. There is a pond near by and lots of free standing water. Mosquitoes were abundant. We blew a 15 amp fuse and the store was all out. We will not be returning to this RV Park.
The Park was clean and the management friendly. The sites were level concrete with grass and a picnic bench at each site. There was an outside covered group seating area and a Safeway close. We had some trouble with our trailer and the manager came and helped us solve it. This is a nice place to stay when traveling between Reno and Las Vegas.
