We stayed here for 2 months. The park is well maintained and clean although there are several older units that detract from the park. Sites are fairly good-sized and level. There is a lot of traffic noise with the 8 freeway right next to the park but you do tend to get used to it. The common areas are nice and well taken care of, the pool was clean and the office has regular hours. There is no place for children to play but they do have a nice dog area. The park is close and convenient to San Diego and surrounding attractions making this park a great place to stay to sight see. It is not a park for those that want a lot of activities. While we were there they had a soup supper scheduled and that was all for two months! The park is mostly filled with permanent residents with a few visiting people sprinkled in.
We stayed here overnight on our way to California. There was a mix up at check-in about our reservations, but everything was worked out fairly quickly. All sites are level, gravel and large for the biggest of rigs. There is a fenced dog area as well. They also have a cafe where a very good meal can be enjoyed at a very reasonable price. There were a lot of trains, but it didn't bother us.
We stayed here for two months. The daily rate is reflective of a $299/mo special rate. The park is well maintained, bathrooms, showers and laundry are very clean and cleaned daily. It is a mixture of permanents in RVs, park models and manufactured homes and seasonals. Sites are basically sand, some with concrete patios and picnic tables. There are lots of trees, roads are narrow so big rigs will find it hard to maneuver but they did have an area of pull throughs that accommodated some of the bigger rigs. It is listed as a resort but I wouldn't call it that. It is a nice RV park but doesn't have the amenities of a resort. They have a Rec.Hall but not many activities are scheduled. They have bingo and cards with crafts one day a week. They had horseshoes and shuffleboard teams. They had no potlucks or shows while we were there. They did have a park wide garage sale and an ice cream social. The calendar looked more full with activities for March however. Cable TV is available through the local cable company with monthly rental. The park is very close to Tampa and so many great things to do. Even though the park isn't the newest or doesn't offer the activities of other parks we would still return to stay because of the reasonable cost and area activities.
A nice park that seems to be mainly permanent residents. Well maintained spaces and the restrooms and laundry room were very clean. Quite a bit of air traffic throughout most of the night but didn't really keep us awake. I wouldn't want to spend a lot of nights here, but it was great for our overnight stay. Close to Elvis attractions and many restaurants to choose from close by.
