Nothing fancy, just a quiet spot under the trees. A little bit rustic, bathrooms are sanitary but could use updating. The owner is very friendly and easy to deal with, treated us right. Free Wi-Fi. Coin laundry. Nearby swimming hole at the creek. Stayed in the Pacific Crest Trail hiker area, $10/person/night. Great cafe next door for breakfast & lunch.
Check in at a Shell station was very easy and friendly. Grass between level sites, a few look like long-term but were not cluttered. Easy in, easy out. Shade trees need to grow some more, not much shade in late afternoon in most sites. Has clean showers. A pleasant, quiet stay in a small American town.
A nice enough place, lots of trees, grass between sites. But sites are not completely level (not bad, just expected flat) and camp roads are gravel so a bit of dust. Showers clean but private dressing areas are small and have no bench to change on. Staff very pleasant. Could use some updating, lots of potential if they spruce it up a bit.
Very nice campground. Spotless restrooms and showers. Wonderful hiking trails, the cables to the peak are a fun land for hikers. The train horn didn't bother us in the motorhome, probably would wake us up if we were in a tent. Getting hot, but our campsite had a shade shelter over the table, and 50amp power for the air conditioner.
It was very clean and very friendly. There is easy access. Our dog enjoyed the large fenced lawn area. The restrooms and showers were spotless! While the campground is well maintained, the location is not scenic but is very convenient to the freeway and services. Highly recommended.
We arrived in the evening. After navigating through the marina and repair yard, approaching the store/office we were told they were just "closing." I told them I wanted to register and they let me in but not too friendly. I told them we just wanted a place to sleep for the night and they quoted $77! We went elsewhere. WE DID NOT STAY HERE.
