Wonderful KOA. All sites are easy to access, have great hookups and the owners are very helpful and friendly. Layout is such that your neighbors do not seem to be close to you. Facility is very well maintained. Does not have the frenetic atmosphere of many KOA's, yet there great family activities available in season. Great location to explore the beauty of southern Vermont.
One night stay on our trip home from PA. This is a very nice park, with a variety of sites. We had a great, wooded, full hook-up back-in. Hook-ups were good, with excellent Wi-Fi. They offer day long bus tours to NYC, which would be a nice way to visit the city. We would stay here again.
Just there for an overnight on the way to New England. Route to campground is pretty narrow for a larger rig. Office staff friendly and gentleman who took us to our site was helpful. Site was level, grass with good hookups. Could not figure out how to connect cable TV as the park hookup had a female end and we do not carry an adapter. Did not check with the office for a fix - so there may be one. Many seasonals, who seem to keep to themselves. Probably would not stay again, mostly due to location.
Country Haven is exactly what they advertise - the quiet one. No activities, no pool, no rec hall, etc.. Views are amazing and hookups are first rate. Owners enforce their rules, which is fine with us. The only reason for not giving a 10 is that the Wi-Fi is rather iffy most of the time. We will stay here again.
Very convenient to highway and very friendly check in. It had been raining for several days and the site we were assigned was very muddy. We were able to get close enough to the "patio" left from a previous long term stay, so that we could get out without wading. This was an overnight and for the price a good deal. Electric was first rate and water pressure was good. As mentioned in earlier posts, this is a member owned park, with only a very few transient spots.
Convenient for an overnight, but would also be nice to visit the area. Entrance road is very narrow, but easy to find. Our full hookup site was level with excellent hookups and good Wi-Fi. Office staff very welcoming and the gentleman that took us to our site was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
This is a very large park, with most sites located on a hillside across a road from the lake. It was a long ride to the far end of the park to our site. Our site was one of two tucked in with some seasonals. Sites are very tight and not very level, although we were able to get reasonable level. Hookups were excellent, but Wi-Fi was very weak, either nonexistent, or on for a short time and then off. The park is a long way from highways for an overnight stop. We would not stay here again just for an overnight.
Very convenient for an overnight off the NY Thruway. The site we were assigned was near the river and very level. Hookups were very good. Wi-Fi really did not work at all where we were located. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.
Just out for a couple of nights to meet and relax with friends. Minuteman staff are friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. Check in is about the easiest and best we have encountered. It rained very hard just after we arrived. Water was pouring down the road and in front of our site. Within an hour of the storm passing our site was dry. Hookups are convenient and WESC were great. This is the best campground in the area if you want to visit Boston. Ask the office staff for advice if you are not familiar with the area. We will stay here again.
We stayed here one night on our way home from NC. This is a beautiful park, with excellent hookups, including Wi-Fi. Our site was level, roomy, and the location well thought out to allow for the most privacy. It rained all of the time we were there, so we did not have an opportunity to use the facilities, but this is a full service park with lots of amenities. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We would stay there again. One note - cash or check only.
We stay at Ocean Waves each time we visit the Outer Banks. Our most recent visit was for a week. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Sites are paved and easily accommodate our 34' RV and car. Sites have W/E/S/Cable, all of which are good. WiFi is good except during times of very heavy use. This is a quiet park with a nice pool and the ocean is directly over the dunes. We will stay there again.
We stayed here for one night on our way from the Outer Banks to MA. This campground is located quite a distance from any major highway and access is over two lane country roads. The rather long entrance road changes from one level of blacktop to another every few feet making it an annoying approach. Our site was at the far end of the park and it was quite level, roomy and sandy. The W/E/Cable hookups were fine. There are no sewer sites. WI-FI hot spot is at the office, which is a long way from these sites. At the time of our visits there were ants all over the ground and hook-ups.
