The new owners were delightful Southerners who really made us feel welcome! This is a great interstate park with little freeway noise, lots of grass, large trees in some areas, and a small lake. We will definitely stop again when coming this way. The Wi-Fi worked great, and the restrooms were very clean.
Great location, near everything that we wanted to see and do. We stayed one week, but should have stayed longer! Wi-Fi signal was good, I never had trouble getting online. The owners were very nice and helpful. The park is on Scenic Highway 7, but the traffic in the evening really drops off and wasn't too noisy. There is a convenience store just up the road, and Harrison is only seven miles away.
Nice park with super friendly owner and camp hosts. We stayed for a month. The campsites are close together, but since we were there in the off season it wasn't a problem as there was no one on either side of us. The grounds and facilities were clean and well cared for. If we are in the area again we will stay here.
We love this park! The entire park is immaculate, the sites are very large and level, and everyone in the park was friendly. We ended up staying for 3 weeks. There are many great day trips that are easily accessible from this park: ghost towns, quaint towns with wonderful restaurants and unique shops, beautiful rides, historic sites, etc. We will stay here whenever we are in the area.
