This is a no frills park with a great view. The people are very accommodating and friendly. The sites are on the small side, but we were able to park a 40' MH without a problem. I don't know how crowded it gets during the peak season, but this time of year there is plenty of room and great water front sites available. We planed to spend 2 nights here and have extended to 6 so far. If you like a smaller park with great people and views, check this place out. If you like all the bells and whistles, go somewhere else.
This park is under new management. It is the first time that we have stayed here, but we will be back. Waterfront sites are available on a first come first serve basis. We were on waterfront site B, it is a 3 way site with 50 amp. The sites are wide and the hook-ups are situated so that you can either back in or pull in. The staff is friendly and helpful and the park is well kept. The roads into the park typical PEI roads, the lanes are about 10' wide and the roads have curves and up and down hills, we had no problem with a 40' MH and toad.
In my opinion, this is not a big rig park. They have a section that is in an open field, but that appears to be seasonal or long term. The interior roads are narrow and not very friendly because of the trees. We were on a pull-through site, that I had to ask my neighbor to move his truck so that I could get out without unhooking. We will not be stopping there again.
This is a family owned/run park, the service is outstanding. The park is extremely well kept and the people are friendly and accommodating. We had a premium site (I don't know if they call it that, but it was nice) with full hook ups and cable. They have free Wi-Fi that works well. For people that are interested, there is an outlet mall about 1/4 of a mile from the park. We have stayed here before and will return anytime we are in the area.
This is one of the best parks we have ever stayed at. The park is well kept, this includes the grounds and the buildings. There is a River Club House, a Pool Club House and a Nature Center. They have a boat ramp at the River Club House. There is even a fenced in dog exercise area. During the season, they serve lunch at the River Club House Monday to Friday, and have a pancake breakfast on Saturday mornings. The people in the park, owners, staff and renters alike are top notch. We have been coming back here for 5 winters and enjoy our stay every time.
