Stayed for an overnighter. Next to a busy freeway and train whistles could be heard at night. Dirt site was not level with flies and ant population. The bathroom and showers were not very clean but I made the best of it. They had a game room but was dusty and not functional. On a hot day, the pool was closed. Nice shady campground with store and good, interesting bulletin board. Staff was considerate.
Wandered into this place for an overnighter. Place was run down. The new manager was nice but apologized for the deficiencies and mentioned the previous manager bailed for no reason. No WiFi, water pipe broken at our site, pool closed, bathroom doors open for proper ventalition. Some seedy looking permanants around but kept to themselves. Converted asphalt parking lot but was right next to a nice shady park. The place has good posibilities for improvement.
Very expensive as they raise the price on weekends. No value there. Only 2 bathrooms and had to wait in line to get in. Staff were friendly. Concrete everywhere. Found no competitors so they can charge higher prices. Not much on campground amenities.
Dry camped over night. Self serve, put our money in an envelope. Water taps can be found. Bathrooms were crude and loaded with gnats & flies. Isolated campsite but it was tranquil walking around. Unlevel sites but lots of trees. Good on the budget and within about 12 miles from Santa Barbara.
Overstaffed to the point of customer distraction. Maintenance and groundskeepers making noise everywhere. The place lights up like a carnival at night and water sprinklers constantly showering everything. Hard to get tranquil relaxation.
Place was packed! Screaming kids & babies everywhere. Bad timing, I guess. Staff seemed callous to guests. Campsite layout was difficult to follow. Access to lake & fishing can be costly! We visited during peak season. Beautiful setting overall. Will come back at another time.
Didn`t notice many amenities. Lots of permanent live ins. Only a few sites available. We have a small rig so parking was not a problem. Easy to find off the hwy. A little over priced for what was offered. WI-FI worked well. Not recommended for more than 1 night. Staff was remote but friendly.
Nice park considering the 100 degree heat & asphalt campsite. Shady trees helped. Amenities from the casino....swimming pool, exercise room & restaurant were nice. WI-FI connection was bad. Staff apologized, but never fixed the problem. Yes, I would stay again if they fixed the WI-FI. We stayed 3 days.
If you arrive on a weekday & with a 90 percent chance of getting a decent site, you can get real quality value from your efforts. Gate people said Wi-Fi was independently offered at $5 per day. Beautiful spring days only interrupted by a noisy electrical generator outlet the 1st night. Moved to another site & things proved fine. Management warned of the crowded weekend ahead. Sorry I missed it. I will come again on another weekday stretch. Nice hiking trails & green picnic/park. A wonderful view of the lake at sunset.
Maybe bad timing as we arrived when the jack hammers were breaking up the concrete on their remodeling projects. Been going on over 6 months. Few if any amenities were available as everything is still under construction. However the cost rate was good. The trailer camping area reminded me of an outside movie theater covered with white rocks. Trees are very small with little shade. Comfort rating reduced another 10% because of the noise of race cars coming from a training track about a mile away. Management told me that it was a very "high class" race track. I didn`t care. I just didn`t like the noise. A little overrated for now. Maybe in 6 months it might be good but there are so many better places to go in Pahrump. We stayed 3 days.
Can`t notice the sign as you come in from the north of town. The campgrounds were simple, clean, and nice. Nothing fancy and this is not a resort. Management and fellow campers were all friendly. My dog and loved the hiking trails around the park which wandered to a nice lake nearby. It's a great RV park but with only one major flaw! The weak Wi-Fi signal only works around the main office. When I complained, management only said, "one of these days we`re gonna fix that!" Stayed 3 days in a travel trailer.
An oasis in the middle of the desert. Palm trees, golf course, nice lake, swimming pool, and friendly management. It can't be seen from the freeway. It was a pleasant surprise when we saw up close. Full amenities were offered, but we only dry camped over night. Seemed very focused for seniors. Radio signals are faint, the closest gas is 20 miles away, and closest grocery store is about 40 miles away. Manager says it is 80% empty in the summer. I can see why!
