We decided to give this place a try after reading some rave reviews and we weren't disappointed! This park is clean, quiet, has friendly staff, and is close to everything. Most sites are secluded and shaded. The Wi-Fi was fast, reliable and no dropping of signal. We will definitely come back here again.
Hands down this resort has to be one of the best RV parks we ever stayed at. Although situated close to I-95, you hardly hear any traffic. The park is also close to the attractions of Brunswick, St. Simons Island and Lighthouse, Jekyll Island and there is plenty of shopping in the area. The sites are huge, paved, level, and have enough shrubbery to afford privacy from your neighbors. The grounds are well manicured and clean. There is a lake at the rear of the property where you can fish although they request you catch and release fish. We stayed for a week and we will definitely return here when in the area again.
One of the better KOAs we've been in. The place is clean and quiet. The staff is friendly, and you are close to everything St. Augustine has to offer. There is even a shuttle bus stop in the campground to take you sightseeing. Most sites are in the shade, the pull-through sites are paved, level, and relatively spacious. We stayed for a week and will most definitely stay here again!
This is a beautiful smaller yet cozy state park. Actually one of the better state campgrounds we have stayed in. This was our second visit here in three years and we are never disappointed. The sites are level, large, clean with views of Mobile across the water in the distance. You are close to everything there is to do in the Mobile area, yet far enough away to feel secluded. As usual we will definitely return here when in the area.
We stayed here two nights and although the sites are grass, they were level. The park is clean and relatively quiet with friendly staff and campers alike. There seems to be a lot of semi and permanent residents but they were off to the sides and in well kept condition. We took the advise of previous posters and paid the extra $2.00 nightly fee for 50 amp service which kept us in the rear and quiet end of the camp ground. The only complaint was with the almost non existent WiFi. The signal would drop and get disconnected every 5 minutes or so.
