Very nice, clean, quiet and shaded park. This park had the nicest, cleanest restrooms and laundry (W-$1.25; D-$1.00) that we have encountered so far. Staff is friendly. Store on site, but store and office close about 6 p.m. Not near water, but several recreation sites are nearby. Strong Wi-Fi link throughout. Multiple cable channels. We paid $32 full hookups w/Good Sam discount. Some permanent occupants, but neatly kept for the most part.
A bit pricey at $44/night with Good Sam discount, but after reading reviews on this web-site of other parks in the Seattle area I was happy to find one with a good rating. All other parks stunk big time according to the reviewers. This is a nice,well-run park. Although sites are close together there are tall hedges separating many sites so you have some privacy. Staff was very friendly. WIFI at my site was very weak so I had to go to their laundry to get a connection. Good TV reception. Stayed here two nights.
Staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. Basic rate $31 (Good Sam) for full hookups doesn't include TV ($1.50)or WiFi($2.00) but total rate is still reasonable. Owner has to configure your computer's IP address to get you wifi access. I assume that that makes it more secure. I had a very strong signal. Clean, reasonable laundry (W-$1.25; D-$1.00). Long walk to downtown or beach. Spaces are narrow and no screening from adjacent units. Adequate park for overnight. Due to cramped spaces and little privacy I wouldn't want to stay here long-term.
Conveniently located close to the Ferry and shopping and attractions in Port Townsend. Interior roads are a bit narrow. We visited on a weekend after what was apparently a busy week. The trash bins were "stout" and overflowing. There is no shade. It is nice enough with nice waterfront views. I suspect that it can be noisy on some days, but the hustle and bustle of the harbor area is part of the attraction. We would stay here again.
Nicely run Family-owned/operated park. Spaces are level and roomy enough. They worked with us on a reduced rate for 4 days when we left our trailer here while we visited Victoria, BC. but they were able to do so because school wasn't out and crowds hadn't arrived. However, we appreciated their willingness to work with us on this. The hot tub (for adults only) was a nice feature. Heated pool was good. WiFi was adequate even at far end of park. The only complaint we had about this park is that there is a lot of busy highway noise. Trees dampened the noise at the end closer to the entrance, but the far end lacked the tree buffer. Recommended and would stay here again.
Road into park was very rough and dusty. Park was basically a large gravel parking lot. Sites were spacious and clean. No shade. Did have easy access to beach. Management was not on site and didn't make any attempt to control off road vehicle use in the campground and on the beach which caused significant annoyance, noise and dust on grounds. WI-FI was fair. No competition in area for camping facilities so little incentive to make improvements. Still, the area was worth visiting, especially the Makah Museum in Neah Bay.
