Great place to camp other than the restriction on the generator, but we knew that going in and planned for a couple of cold nights. Sites were easy to get in and out of, very friendly staff. Be aware that you are limited to 2 showers a day per site, anything additional you have to pay. The hours for the showers were also limited 8 AM-9 PM, and you had to drive to get to the shower location. There were awesome amenities in this area of the park and it was beautiful. We will hopefully be back soon.
Stayed here overnight. Sites are gravel with more mud than gravel in some. Rain did not help. Hard to level. Staff was decently friendly at front desk. Super clean restrooms and laundry room. They were able to exchange US dollars for Canadian coins for laundry. Wi-Fi was slow but worked most of the time. Area to walk pets a plus. Campground was overall quiet however the road was noisy with tractor trailers zooming by. Would stay here again for just a short time.
BE AWARE-DO NOT STAY HERE unless you want to camp in a trailer park. We did not end up staying the night. We had reservations, and pulled up. The guy didn't even know which sites he had available, they were super small and would have been difficult to level (muddy). There were a tons of old trailers that were rusted out with garbage around sites. The facilities were NOT clean and there is no way with kids I would have stayed there. Totally misrepresented on their website. Its in the middle of Calgary suburban sprawl with a ton of construction and not easy access. Sites were not maintained, not mowed, and more of a storage area feel than a campground.
Awesome location in the country, quiet, great management, literally on the golf course-great view! Gravel level sites with grassy patch for kids/dogs to play in was great! Wi-Fi was available in the club house which you have to walk to and is only open til 9 PM, but it worked great. Be aware: do not camp here if you require showers or bathrooms. Bathrooms available in clubhouse until 9 PM and after 6 AM, no showers services available at all. Gate closes when they close the clubhouse and we needed to leave early so they gave us the code and we let ourselves out.
This was a last minute stop for us overnight. We called ahead and they were willing to work with us since we were pulling in after they closed and leaving before they got there in the AM. Clean sites, small and close to your neighbor. The location was convenient to highway however it was noisy and in a sketchy area of town. Lighting in the park was nonexistent. Area for pets extremely small. Bathrooms very clean, but dated. Good for short stay, would not recommend for long stay.
We camped here for 2 nights. For the purpose of being close to the Grand Tetons it was fine. Clean park and clean showers/bathrooms (dated), sites very close together, and no area for dogs to be walked other than around the border of the park. Kids are welcome, but there were no areas for playing other than the pool, which at 60 degrees was not practical. Friendly management staff that gave us suggestions for local areas to visit and things to do with the kids. No shaded areas. Easy to get in and out of as well with our 30 foot rig.
The only negative to this place is the site size--too small if you have large dogs, but it worked for us while we stayed 3 nights. Everything else was awesome, tons of activities, super clean bathrooms/showers, pool was great for the kids. It stays very full with permanent camp sites. The office staff was so good and as a plus if you need maintenance on your rig they come to your site to help you. Would go back in a second.
Pleasant surprise. Decent size pull thru sites super clean bathrooms/showers. Very pet friendly. We stayed there 2 nights. A bit of the beaten path and harder to access plus no identified campground hosts present with minimal office hours. We would definitely camp here again.
Clean huge and level sites, very quiet, easy access to highway. Clean facilities, however one bath house was under construction so we had to drive to the other one. The camp hosts were available as requested. Stayed here one night, would love to go back and explore it more.
This campground was so overrun and not well maintained over the years. The bathroom and sinks were horrendous in both locations with multiple types of bugs dirt and grime. The toilets would not flush and were clogged. Management was not available as the hours stated on the office and were not very helpful. The sites were very big but no pull thru. Bugs were horrendous, but the grounds backed up to a river. The sites were muddy and in need of new gravel. The hookups were at the very back of the site so when we arrived we had to run to Walmart for an extension cord. We stayed there for 2 nights while visiting my husbands home town. We will not be staying there again.
Overall a great campground with AWESOME views! Ask to be by the campsites overlooking the town with the view, amazing! Friendly/helpful management, clean showers and laundry. Space were smaller than we like due to our very active 2 dogs, but it worked out ok because the space next to us was empty. There were not fire pits at every site, so our 6 year old was a bit disappointed. We stayed overnight, and took in the sights at the local Sinks State Park. Great place, we would definitely go back!
