Very nice park. Lots of room for everything. They were paving the main road in the campground during our stay and the owners came around to make sure all the residents knew about it and were able to move their cars. Nice to see a campground owner go the extra mile for the customers. Free firewood a nice plus, but it was too hot for a fire while we were there.
This campground is marginally acceptable at best. The temperatures while we were there were in the low 90s and the electric service was inadequate for the loads. The voltage dropped so low that our EMS would cut the power to avoid damage to electronics. This happened daily between noon and six p.m. We ended up running the generator for AC during the day. The campground staff blames the local electricity provider but the fault appears to lie with the campground's electrical infrastructure. We discovered that the campers in the seasonal sites do not have this problem. Add to that the fact that the water pressure is too low (40 psi at the spigot) for showers and the restrooms are still closed and it's not a great place to stay.
A well-run park in a great location! The adult-only policy makes for a very quiet, enjoyable stay. The marsh views are striking and the bird life is always entertaining. We have a 40-foot fifth wheel pulled by a class 8 truck, and were able to fit the truck, trailer and car onto our site, although it was a tight fit. The staff was friendly and competent. We are here for a month, and wish we could stay longer.
This is well-kept park in a beautiful location. You can see Amish farmland for miles from the campground. The owners/managers are will go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Although the campground serves big rigs they may have difficulty with longer fifth wheels pulled by HDTs (Heavy Duty Trucks).
This park is neat and well-kept. Most sites are shaded. Access can be a little tight for big rigs due to trees and fences, as well as tight-radius turns. Electrical power was a problem during my stay, with frequent voltage drops to 100 volts. The park maintenance staff said they were unable to help with the problem, since this was an acceptable level of service.
