This is a very nice "get away from it all" park. We had the most expensive sight and it was huge. On a cement pad with a nice view of the private lake. The pool is absolutely beautiful. Sparkling clean with shade and a very pretty view of the lake. The owners are also the managers. They are thoughtful and friendly. The facilities are in perfect order. And if you like barbecue you are smack in the middle of the several small town with world renowned barbecue restaurants.
Stayed overnight at this park, got a large pull-through site so we did not have to unhook. It was easy to get to off of I-10, park was very clean and well kept, sites are concrete and level. There appeared to be a lot of activities available. Although lakefront access is a little bit of a stretch as they are referring to a small decorative fishing pond on the property. The main negative for me was there were a lot of kids even in the middle of the week, but if you have children it is probably a great place to go. Very nice spot to pull off for an overnight stop.
We stayed here the first two nights we owned our new 40 ft fifth wheel. This park is surprisingly easy to get into considering it is in downtown New Orleans. Spots are easy to back into and the park is immaculately kept. It feels very safe inside the walls of the park even though you are right on the edge of the French Quarter. I found there was plenty of area to walk my poodle. Bonus is several French Quarter restaurants will deliver to the park. My main complaint was the costs, we were not allowed any discounts because of a basketball tournament in town, even though I seriously doubt any of the people I saw were there for that event. Seemed to be just an excuse to charge the higher rate. Also, there is a lot of city noise and traffic because you are right under I10, but you trade quiet for location.
This is a nice clean park. Well laid out with easy access off of I20. We stayed overnight in a 40 ft fifth wheel in a premium pull through site. All sights are concrete and level and the sight was long enough to leave the truck hooked up. The park appears to be mostly long time residents, but all trailers are well kept and neat. We arrived after closing but the hosts left info and walked by to check on us after we arrived. Not a destination spot, but great for an overnight or if you need to be in the area for a reason. Rate reflects Good Sam discount.
