This park is beautiful! RV sites are placed on a circle with living space somewhat private because of the way in which the circles are laid out. Mostly quiet and camper friendly. The amenities are various and park employees are helpful and friendly. The lodge gift shop and dining hall meals are enjoyable. The best feature for us was the most beautiful and challenging golf course. One of the prettiest in our area of the country. A must see for vacationers and locals alike. We continue to camp here for all of the above reasons. Great place to vacation!

We've stayed in this campground several times since getting our rig and love the overall area. It is kept clean and well maintained (including the beach area) with the rules given to each camper Followed to your site if you need help. The camp hosts are most friendly and visible. This campground is best used by fishermen, boaters, and canoe users alike because it is located on a peninsula. Wildlife abounds. A wonderful place to relax and unwind. The camp managers are generous and lovely people. We will definitely return.

We camped here for 9 days including St. Patrick's Day weekend, and were included in their celebration dinner and dance. What a fun time and well organized. The sites in this park are very spacious and have plantings between most, if not all of their sites. Very shaded with beautiful mature live oaks and palm trees. The 3-hole golf course needs some work, but made a great place to walk our dogs each morning. Shuffleboard was available as was air boat riding at the local establishment. Downtown Inverness has great restaurants and various churches to attend. We will be staying here again.

Office Receptionist was knowledgeable and friendly. Older campground was relatively clean. Some smaller trash on our site, like cigarette butts, bottle tops, small glass pieces, etc. Very close quarters to neighboring RV's. Awning extended cleared by only one foot on one side. Neighbors awning missed our 3 foot deep slide by six inches on the other. We were on a waterfront site that had a view to die for. The traffic on the river bridge gave no bothering noise at our site. This was a pleasant stay with most campers respectful and keeping their animal wastes picked up. No loose dogs running and barking. Dinner at Angelos was a wonderful treat. We will stay here again.
