This is a shady clean campground. We were at one of the sites next to the Wind River. The view was spectacular and we could hear the sound of the river flowing from our camper. The sites next to the river were a little tight, but you kind of expect that with those kind of sites. It was pretty quiet for the most part. It is a bit of drive to the Tetons and to Jackson (80miles), but it is beautiful scenery along the way. There are closer places to stay, but none as peaceful and pretty. The Wi-Fi was good and the bathrooms were clean. If you need essentials, the town of Dubois is about 2 miles down the road. We would stay here again.
The facilities were excellent. Highly maintained and we stayed on a riverfront lot with a great view of the mountains. It is very close to Chico and 30 minutes from the park. The Wi-Fi was very good and they offer a variety of essentials in their store along with scoop ice cream. However, the management seems to be very strict. The list of things you cannot do is as long as my arm. There are no individual campfire sites ( only a community one every night in front of the office.) This is the first campground I have been to that required a code to enter before you could use the restrooms. This campground appears to cater more to the older retired age group that likes the surroundings quiet and controlled. Just keep this in mind when looking for a campground.
We really liked this campground. The sites were very spacious and not crowded at all. There is much shade available. The owner was very helpful about local attractions, We felt right at home as soon as we checked in. Very quiet. We would recommend this park to anyone.
This campground is large and was very crowded when we arrived. The site was adequate, but very close to your neighbor. Probably would not recommend to fellow travelers. Very tight maneuvering with a big rig.
This is a clean well maintained park. It was very hot when we arrived and the 30 amp breaker on the electrical hookup kept shutting off. After I informed the office, it was fixed very quickly. No shade to speak of. It is adequate for an overnight stay.
This is a very kid friendly park. When we stayed there it was very crowded with dogs and children. The sites are very close together. Wi-Fi was good. All right for an overnight. If you want peace and quiet, you better keep looking.
Very shady campground. It is very close to Charlottesville. Waynesboro has all needed services, grocery, fuel, etc. This campground has quite a few long time campers with older trailers. It is an older park, but very well maintained.
Nice quiet campground. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was like parking in someone's backyard. There is not a lot for the kids to do, but that is the only negative I can say. It is very good for an overnight stay to see the Corn Palace.
