There didn't seem to be many choices for parks in the SF area and this one has a location that makes it easy to visit the City (San Francisco). When the weather is good the location is absolutely gorgeous! More typically the area is socked in with fog or low clouds. The pull-through sites for big rigs are the tightest I've ever seen. Lines are painted on the pavement to identify the site boundary and my neighbors and I were in our sites with about one foot from the edge of our slides to our boundary lines! I had to turn sideways to get between my rig and my neighbor, I guess RVs didn't have slides when the park was laid out. It's really way too tight to spend that kind of money but what are you going to do? I think we will look for another place next time we visit SF, but we would probably return here if we couldn't find a more suitable park. We camped here in a 39' rig with slides on both sides.
A very enjoyable place to stay that is very close to the entrance of the Badlands park and the "town" of Interior. Nothing fancy but priced right and run by a very nice family that started it up many years ago. Wi-Fi was available, but you need to be in one of the sites close to the office. Rates were $16 dry camping, $22.50 full hookups with 10% off for Good Sams, AAA, etc.
