Glacier Campground is a real good site just outside of the West entrance to Glacier park. The management seemed very nice and helpful. They display an easy going, friendly attitude. The prices were reasonable and the campground is clean, but somewhat dated. The showers were hot and appreciated. We stayed a week with them and would go back again.
Apgar is a lovely setting in Glacier National Park. The sites are primitive and wooded. The area is very beautiful with full access to the park and the Apgar Village. A great place to stay for a few days with out electricity. A dump station and water fill up are available. Lake McDonald is breath taking. The campground can be very full at times during the summer. You may have to stay outside the park to get a spot.
