My wife and I found this park through Passport America and planned to stay one night. That is until we found out our 2008 PPA book was outdated and you can stay here for as long as you like at 50% off. The site are narrow, but they do their best to stagger campers on every other site. The Wi-Fi is excellent, they have 2 50+ foot towers with multiple antennas. The spa was closed due to mechanical failure, but they were working on it. The ladies in the office were a delight. This park is a bit "country" but they seem to be making strides to be a great San Antonio destination. I highly recommend this park.
Park was run by a family for years, but with new ownership comes changes. The price seems steep for what seems to be a gravel and dirt site. The staff was friendly, and really new their park. no problems parking, but with all the trees i did pick up some new dings and scratches. I would stay again, but only for a short PPA priced stay.
I came to Admiralty in the late 90s and it was one of the best parks in the state. Now it is surrounded by a housing development which really destroys the the sense of privacy. There is a high school just down the road, and off course the kids come flying by in their cars. This area has been developed with housing, and the park is just not what it once was. I will not be coming back and do not recommend the park, or even this area of town to anyone looking to relax.
