Every visit the place gets better! The owners, employees and their family work non-stop to make this one of the best KOA's around.

Very nice place with a very helpful and friendly staff. Right on the dunes with a real short walk to the Atlantic Ocean. Just watch the wind. The Outer Banks is very windy from fall to spring. Gusts of 30 mph is common from what I have been told by the locals. We had to relocate to another site where the showers partially blocked the wind. The office staff went out of their way to make it happen and they sent a worker over with a pickup to help us. Good people!

I wish I had read the reviews here BEFORE I made a non-refundable 3-day payment for the holiday weekend. I would have rather stayed in a Wal-mart parking lot! The sites are so close to each other it took me 25 minutes just to get into the site. You are squeezed in between seasonal sites most of which obviously don't care for us transient campers. It is also very unsafe having all the cars parked all around and very close to the fire pits. It's an accident waiting to happen! As for the loudspeaker announcements. What a pain! It was like I was at a summer camp for kids. The place is loaded with golf carts for the seasonal people and it's like a racetrack. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and read, this is NOT the place. Save your money and go somewhere else!

Visited this place last year and it was very good and was even better this year. The owners have really worked very hard in making this place a great campground! It's no wonder they won the KOA Presidents Awards last year. Lot to do in the area, don't miss the Catskill Mountain Railroad and go back in time to the 60's walking the streets of Woodstock.

Campground was spotlessly clean! Not much to do in the area if you don't gamble and/or golf. If you are looking for a clean, quiet CG to read and relax...this is it!

First KOA I ever had to pay extra ($3) for cable! It annoyed me. Add it into the price. It's not the money but the principle! Nice area, many things to do. Clean campground with nice pool and hot tub.

Nice place with shaded hilly sites. Close to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds and the rest of the Hudson Valley. Some sites may be difficult to get level due to the sloped terrain. Office has limited hours, closing at 6pm and 8pm on Saturdays. In addition, no campground personnel on location after hours so late night noise may go uncorrected.

Nice campground and a good "homebase" if you plan on visiting the "Capital of the World", New York City. You can venture there yourself by car or train or take the tour they offer. Very nice staff and a beautiful place to visit in the fall.

Without a doubt the nicest campground I have ever camped! We had the "Deluxe Oceanfront" site. It cost a few more dollars but waking up to the sound of the ocean was priceless! Very nice and friendly people and of course great lobsters!

The park had really gotten run down a few years ago but new owners took over and really turned the place around. They have added nice cabins, a great kid's playground and on top of it, they are very nice and helpful people.
