OK, so we weren't really looking for a campground in relationship to a Zoo, but that's where it's located! Right behind the Riverside Zoo!! Same entry, then left on paved drive. FHU sites are $20 a night (none available during our stay). Water and Electric only rate is $15 a night! Camp "Hosts" were super friendly, even offered to guide us in and back to our site. Plenty of room for our 40 ft Class A and our toad. Would camp here again!

When I called this campground to get the nightly rate and physical address for them, I was quoted $28 ($25 Good Sam's rate). When we arrived we were informed that the rate was $38 a night and no Good Sam's rate! When I questioned why they weren't honoring the rate quoted over the phone I was informed that it was the same thing as if we'd been "quoted a $37 rate over the phone for a motel and got there and were charged $101 a night, we'd have to pay it." We informed them that NO we did not have to pay it, and we'd leave and we did! Had they honored the rate quoted to us, we'd have stayed there the two nights we were scheduled to since it was a small but clean little park. Because they failed to honor a quoted price or even reach a reasonable half way point we gave them a 1 rating. Had they done so it would have been much higher I'm sure. We will not return to this park. We went on to Scottsbluff and found a nice little campground for $15 a night!

We spent a week at this campground at the rate of $110. Regular rate is $20 a night for less than 7. Water is available before you go to your site as well as a dump station. This is a typical Fairgrounds so we were treated to the first viewing of the Alpena 4th of July parade as they assembled at the Fairgrounds. We stayed in back along the river and weren't bothered by any road traffic. Care takers very friendly! We had a huge site! Would definitely stay here again!

Friendly campground close to Grand Rapids/Wyoming area. Rate reflects a monthly rate of $750. Large sites, plenty of room for our 40 ft class A and our toad. Nice pool. We spent the month of June here and will definitely be back the next time we're in the area to visit family and friends.

Nice little campground, not much shade. Weak 30 amp electric. Blew circuit frequently while we were here. Stayed 3 nights. Check in at the liquor store. Didn't use the pool, but saw one here. Would probably stay again.

Small little cozy campground. Owners extremely helpful and very willing to assist in any way possible! They went out of their way to put us into an extremely long site that accommodated both our 40 ft. coach and our toad so we didn't even have to unhook!! Very accommodating! He informed us right up front that they only had 30 amp service and that we'd probably be more comfortable going down the road where they had 50 amp service, however we appreciated their up-front attitude and friendliness and decided to power down and stay. We were informed it was OK to run our generator so we could operate all three air conditioners to cool the place off, which we did but then switched it to one air and had no problems the rest of the night. A very nice place to pull in for overnight when your on the road. Would definitely stay here again. The rate is for a FHU site!

Nice clean park, friendly staff. Handicap restrooms available and they are very clean!! Spent 2 weeks here recovering from surgery and whenever my spouse came through the gate the staff never failed to inquire about my health. Definitely will stay here again!!

The water at this campground is very poor quality. It's yellowish brown and rusty. Our clothes were ruined in the washer because of the bad water. Surely this can't be healthy to drink?!! We have camped at this campground in the past and the same problem existed then so apparently it's not a concern for them. We will not camp here again.

Older park. VERY friendly management folks!!! Lots of group activities and dinners! Spent two weeks at this park. Tight for a big rig but we managed. Centrally located to where we wanted to visit.

Small. Friendly staff. Pull through sites make for easy in and out. We had to move several times while we were here, but they were able to accommodate us for a full week during a busy season. Campground should have a separate phone or email from the Flea Market. Had to wait for a weekend in order to make our reservations: the only negative point. Would definitely stay here again!

Friendly people, clean park. Difficult to find. No phone service, no TV service. If they had phone access or TV service it would definitely be a 9! Did not like the fact that we were charged a $9 fee to make the reservation, yet the park was almost empty and if you just showed up there would be no booking fee. This issue needs to be given some consideration to get that 10 rating!

Always a pleasure to stop here! Great pool and spa, friendly folks and now a very novel "RV" grill that has "slide outs" (booths) and tire rim bar stools! Also has pool side access. New "pizza & burger" menu with cocktails!

This quiet out of the way campground is a jewel in a fast paced city. Located in Old Town Vegas it is close to the bus station so you could catch "The Duce" and ride it to the strip. Pick your site and then register at the hotel desk where the folks are friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend this campground and extended our stay there with no problem at all. There are no frills here but they do have a clean laundry room and two enclosed dog runs.

It is most unfortunate that the dark haired girl who was so friendly and helpful to everyone is no longer there. The blonde German lady who owns the park is so unbearably rude to people that we recommend avoiding this park due to the owners' ill temper and mean attitude towards their customers. Camping is supposed to be a fun experience, but when you are mistreated by the owners then it's best to avoid the park and go someplace where you feel welcome and can enjoy your camping experience as it should be.
