We decided to give Greenland Cove CG another try and really glad we did. Lot#57 is no longer an issue as previously posted, very quiet and peaceful now. The lake is beautiful and the fishing was very good. The pool is heated. They have a very large rec room on first floor and a kid's rec room with games in the basement. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shower floor is somewhat spongy feeling when walking across it. This area will need a little work soon. The lawns are well groomed and the flowers are beautiful. The sites are gravel and mostly level. There are 30 amp services with the water pressure holding around 40 PSI. I cannot say enough good statements about the staff for they are all very friendly, sincere, knowledgeable about the area, and willing to assist with any issues. I even saw one of the staff backing a camper into a site for a gentleman who was not comfortable backing himself. One of the other campers I spoke with came here for two weeks, extended to three weeks, and now is staying the remainder of the summer. The road into the campground has a few pot holes, but go slow and you should be fine. This is a wonderful place to camp and we plan to return here again.

Park has beautiful views of Mt. Katahdin and Penobscot river. We visited in the fall so the foliage was amazing. Less than 20 miles from Millinocket over a bumpy road. Go slow and you will have no problems. Moose, bald eagles, deer are plentiful to view. No services so dry camping is a must. Our rating would have been higher had there been T-paper in the bathrooms. We asked attendants over four days for TP, and only got it on the fourth day. Trash had not been emptied for many many days / weeks. Owners were away to a wedding, so this probably would have been different had they been around. Heavy logging trucks start moving around 3 a.m. during the week, so the wonderful silence for good sleeping is gone. Again, this is a beautiful campground setting, but bring your own TP and a broom for the bath rooms. We will go back as long as the owners are present.

We came back at the end of July and had another wonderful time at this (previously) tranquil campground. My rating is lower on this review due to my experience during our August visit along with comments from other nearby campers to seasonal lot #57. The lady at this site is very rude, inconsiderate of others, and feels because she is seasonal, she can do whatever she wants. Do not reserve any site near #57 unless you like blaring "Rapp" music all day long and half the night. We asked this person very politely to please lower the volume of her music, but she appeared put out that we had the nerve to say anything to her. This will be our last visit to this, otherwise, wonderful campground. So sad, one person spoils the atmosphere of the calling of loons on the lake, hearing the leaves blowing through the trees, and the occasional joyous laughter of happy children.

Some seasonal sites, but most are well kept and have friendly folks. Bunnies all around add to the entertainment. Many weekly activities and usually nightly hay rides for those young at heart. Some noise from the big log trucks on the highway. Close to Mt. Katahdin and Baxter State Park. Gravel roads and some grassy sites, which are quite level. The local TV stations did not come in for us. Nice walking conditions around the campground. We would stay here again.

This was a very clean campground to stay at. The lake view and sunsets were amazing. Pet friendly with ample space to exercise you and your pet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The showers were clean and 25 cents bought you three minutes of shower time. They offered dock space for boaters and a sandy beach for sun bathers. The sites were large enough to accomodate our 38.7' fifth wheel with ease. No sewer hook-up, but a new dump station available for free use. A dump "cart" is available for pump outs for long stay campers (for a small fee). The pool is heated for the non-lake swimmers. We had a very relaxing stay here and plan to visit this campground several times a year.

Camp ground has lots of seasonal sites with older units parked on them. Years of additions, decks, and out side attachments which makes the area "cluttered" looking. Assigned a site to us that was very difficult to put a 39' RV in due to the many trees in the area. There were other sites available that would have been easier to set up in. The lady on the phone was very friendly and accommodating, but the lady who checked us in gave us "no" greeting, was not busy, but gave us the impression that we were putting her out by having to check us in. Lots of dusty dirt pot hole filled roads around and many tent sites with high grass conditions. This is an older camp ground that appears to be getting run down. We would NOT return to the C/G.

Excellent grounds. Well suited for tents and all types of RVs. Some sites wooded and some open with distant ocean view. Generally, very warm and welcome feeling while driving through C/G. Showers and toilets are very clean and have lots of water pressure while using showers. CASH only or checks accepted here. Wi-Fi excellent. Level sites with fire rings. Adequate room for big rigs. Staff in office helpful and friendly. NO reservations accepted. First come first serve basis. Check into office, go set up on available site and return to office to pay for number of days stay. With a 6 day stay, the 7th day is free. Lots and lots to do in local area. Much fun to be had. We would stay here again.

Excellent view of the ocean. Beach at the front of campground and it's easily accessible. Showers were clean with lots of pressure and hot water. Wi-Fi service was excellent. Staff was friendly. Rules indicate no outside structures, remote or attached to the RV, but outside screen rooms and rain canopies were in use all over the campground and certainly helped due to the three days of rainy weather we had while camping here. I did NOT find the outside structures to be an unsightly issue, but a necessary one due to the poor weather conditions. Grounds were well groomed with ample room for large RVs.
