This was a relatively quiet stay of 5 nights away from the highway. The facility was nearly full always. The sites are rather close together, many not level and some maneuvering was tight. The staff was very friendly, escorted us to the site and assisted with backing in. Some sites, like ours, were water and electric only. So the use of the dump station is necessary. This is my biggest criticism: when your are positioned to use the dump station, the access to a significant portion of the west end sites is blocked and your rig is parked on a slope. I would stay here again.

This is a nice park. The people were friendly, escorted us to the site and assisted in backing in. The trees in the shaded portion were great mature cottonwoods. The site spacing was a bit tight. The biggest complaint is the width of the built up gravel site (#10). It was so narrow that with even blocking the left side to level the trailer, there was still a considerable slope on the right side that was not conducive to sitting under the awning.

This is a no reservations facility, but there were spaces available. The previous comments are confirmed. The facility is an older design and therein lies my comment. The sewer connections on the pull through sites are located to the extreme rear of the pad, so with the midships location of the tank connection get ready to run 15'-20' of sewer hose or back into the access lane to dump. The sewer connection was on the neighbors concrete pad and to close. There is not a dump station on the facility. There is a city dump station about a mile away available, if it is not full. This was a pleasant 7 night stay in a travel trailer.

The facility was great for our needs in a 23' travel trailer for an overnight stay. Good enough that we stayed again on the return trip home. There were a lot of full time residents, but that did not bother us. My only complaint was the noise from the adjacent properties, but it was not bad. Good mom and pop restaurant near by.

This is a good stop in northern Arizona where few, if any, other campgrounds exist. And the price is right: free. You will need to work at leveling your rig at nearly every site. No showers and water available at the restroom building. This is not a big rig place and it is about 9 miles off of US160. It is quiet and the views are great. The visitor center is quite interesting and it is worth staying an extra day or two to do the hikes to the ruins.
