We enjoyed this campground. Everyone is friendly. There are things to do. It is clean and well maintained but kept kind of rustic. Unfortunately, the sites are too close together. They have plenty of land, so I can't understand why they didn't put some space in the campground. Also, our 50 amp did not work. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a typical KOA in that it is very clean, well maintained, sites are close together, nice facilities, etc. However, this one has VERY little vegetation. If there were some small trees between the sites or some grass or something, it would be very nice. The best thing about this park is the fenced in play area for dogs. We would stay here again as a stopover.
This campground is a great stopover spot. It is small but clean and well maintained. I would not bother making reservations next time, because no one is in the office until the evening. When we arrived, we found a sign on the office door that said hook up wherever we wanted and pay by envelope in drop slot. We paid when the managers showed up in the evening. We would warn you to check the electricity at your campsite first to make sure it works: some don't. Also, if you have satellite, it is blocked by some of the trees. If you have a big rig, be careful of the trees. They need to be trimmed back. The park is very comfortable and has a nice and clean but small laundry room.
This is an incredible place to stay in your motorhome. It must be a Class A motorhome of a recent year. The place is gorgeous. Everyone, including tenants, are very friendly. Facilities are marvelous: 5 pools, plus gym, sauna, etc. The only reason I gave it a 9 is because there is no picnic table available at the site. The sites are concrete pads that are very level and nice. We would definitely stay there again.
This is a very nice park, well run, well maintained. It is easy to get your RV into the camp site. The Wi-Fi and cable TV work well. Facilities are well kept, and we really appreciated the dog walk. The park even furnishes the clean-up bags. My only negative comment is the sites are a bit small. Towables are parked between the RV and the property line, not in front of the RV. Some sites are too small and the towable must be parked in some available spots that may not be close to your RV spot. Also, some are not level and your step into your RV may be a bit high up. Note: On the ocean view spots, the RV faces toward the mountains; but your picnic area overlooks the ocean. On the mountain view spots, the RV is across the street from the ocean view spots but it faces toward the ocean and your picnic area faces the mountains.
This was a very nice park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It has a nice pool and Saturday morning pancake breakfast. The campsites are a bit too close together and the pads are gravel. But we would return.
This is a nice, clean, well maintained park. Their drive-in movie is a great idea, but there was no movie playing the night we were there. They only had 30 amp service for us, which we can usually get by on. But in the evening, the amperage decreased so much that it messed up our refrigerator and our water heater. Also, the water pressure is low.
This is a beautiful park under shade trees. The staff could not be nicer! Before arriving there for our reserved weekend, we called them when we were in a find. They helped us find another KOA in the area we were in. The only reason I gave a 9 is the pad is gravel.
This park has everything! It is great! It is clean, well maintained, and well laid out. Staff are friendly and helpful. Campsites have a concrete pad and beautiful grass out front with a picnic table. All of the amenities are nice, and I can't say enough. We will be back.
What a dump! It may have been a nice campground at one time but not any more! It was quite run down. Overhead electric lines were so low that we could not stay there (thankfully!). Our rig would have hit them for sure had we tried to drive through the park. So we got our money back and had to make a U-turn at the entrance (that was fun!).
The park has everything one could want! It is very clean, and staff are friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the design (location of the hookups). They are at the entrance end of the pull-throughs. So, one must have 35-foot hook up cords or unhook the towable. Also, don't leave your chairs out at night; because they turn on the sprinklers. We liked it and will return.
