Right off I-10, north side, this is certainly just an overnight stay, not a destination. Little far away from Fort Stockton itself, but from what I could tell the best spot for an overnight stay. Sites are simple dirt, hook ups are water, sewer and not so reliable power. No cable is offered at this site. Wireless internet is available but very low speed. Clean facilities and dinner at the Road Runner Restaurant on site not the best meal I ever had. Very clean, courteous staff, but a lot to improve on food, may be breakfast will be better, but I am afraid to try now. Office provides a few essentials for your stay. Again, a quick overnight stop is all I can choose to comment about Fort Stockton RV Park.
Right off I-10, this is an excellent choice for a quick relaxing stop. 24 hours security even though not gated is provided in this new RV Resort. Free continental breakfast is provided as well as a very warm lobby with a fireplace and courteous staff. Site is graveled, good clean hook ups. Very close to Old Mesilla restaurants and shopping, not sure I can consider walking distance, 5-6 blocks, may be a little too dark to adventure in a winter night. We ate a great little Mexican food called El Comedor. Food was decent. Definitely will stop there again when traveling.
If you are visiting Silly Valley, this is definitely the greatest destination. Proximity to San Jose is probably one of the cleanest and best RV Resorts around. Staff is fantastic. I had my motorhome there for over a year and was glad to be there. Very convenient location for access to Silicon Valley and Morgan Hill shopping and restaurants. I strongly recommend this spot for your travels.
Very small, but extremely convenient RV Park right next to Scottsdale Old Town and shopping area. Mr. Alvin Kinsey and his wife Ava are very nice people and very accommodating. Parking a big rig can be challenging but Alvin was very knowledgeable in helping us with the parking and making sure all hook ups and slide outs fit the area well for a good stay. The proximity and walking distance to downtown Scottsdale makes this RV Resort a top notch place for the shopping and dining enthusiast. The little park is really clean and offers all the amenities required for a good stay. Power lines were voltage clean and Cable service was perfect. Thanks Alvin and Ava for the nice welcoming and hospitality. Well done.
Betabel is a very clean RV resort. I spent months in the resort. The staff is fantastic. They will do everything to accommodate your stay. Very clean facility, an awesome spot right off the freeway with great views and great proximity to the Gilroy Outlets, Garlic Festival, Hollister and the mission city of San Juan Bautista. The resort offers great rally facilities, great mountain views and also very close to Silicon Valley if you desire to stay a little ways from the rats race of Silly Valley. Sites are well kept, all concrete and great hook ups with internet access 24 hours a day. Easy access, great for big rigs as well.
I have been a guest of Wine Country RV Resort for four years now, and have frequently visited the RV Resort at least 4-5 times per year. This is probably one of the best RV Resorts I ever stayed at in California. It not only offers great sites, great staff, great owners, and awesome location, but it is also a very desirable town to visit while in California. The home of the largest State Fair, the Mid State Fair, it is also a great vacation getaway. Great restaurants, shopping and it is proximity to the coast, Cambria, Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo makes this one of the greatest destinations. And if you are a wine enthusiast, this area offers some of the best wineries in Central California. I strongly recommend this RV park. If you have kids, get this, there is an awesome water park right across the street from the resort. Fun for the whole family. The owners and the manager and its staff are among some of the best people I have met in the RV Resorts I ever visited. Check our their upcoming Motorcoach RV resort a couple of miles down the street. A Mega Resort offering all the fun you can own and enjoy in California. Please keep space 152 or 153 ready for me every time I visit you please. Thanks for everything you do. Congratulations for an awesome team!
Mentioned upon reservation that we were coming with a 40' Motorhome. They reserved us space number 3 which they considered Deluxe Site. There is nothing deluxe about that site for $50/night. Our RV would not fit in the graveled unleveled space, then the security guard placed us at the overflow area which cable TV didn't quite work, the dump hook up was way above ground. Staff didn't even check with us to see how we were doing and didn't bother to change our nightly rate from "Deluxe" to overflow by the dump. This is an over rated and over priced resort. Don't let them sell you on a Deluxe premium site. It is unfair and not worth. Positive points: Has a nice laundry and gym facility, and the bathrooms looked very clean.
