I always partially base my rating on the price we paid -- the overall value. This place was an excellent value! We had free WiFi, cable, and even a continental breakfast. They even walker dog for us when we were gone on a raft trip all day. The people are fantastic. The CG isn't fancy, an is basically a gravel parking lot, but a very welcoming place and a GREAT value. We would definitely stay here again.

With all the 9 and 10 ratings, we were a bit disappointed in Blazing Star. While some of the sites are quite nice, ours along the side, was paved, but not level, had trash behind the site, and did not have a picnic table. They charged $49 extra/week for the 2 kids and charged extra for WiFi. When a place claims to be "luxury" and they charge a lot, we expect allot. The common facilities (office, pool, laundry, bathhouses) were outstanding and immaculate. However, we did not like that the office closed at 6pm -- no access to the lounge or game room in the evenings. My kids only used the nice game room once because we were out most days, and home in the evenings. This is a nice resort, and has some great features, but definitely not a 10 in my book.

This park is nicely landscaped and meticulously maintained. The sites are all paved, with space to park your TV or Toad beside your rig. The WIFI was good, the bath house was spotless, but the pool was quite small. Just wish they had more kid amenities -- no playground, basketball court or game room.

We were pleased to find this very charming CG. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool and the train ride. We arrived late, but someone came to the office and helped us check in and invited us to the Tuesday night bluegrass concert. This is a smaller CG, but the owners have obviously invested a lot of time and money in it. The model RR is incredible, and in addition to the indoor pool, there is a small lake w/ sand beach and a nice playground. The buildings are very attractive. Our site was pretty narrow, but that was our only negative. Oh, and DO NOT use GPS to get there, use their directions :-)
