We had a great site (#69). It was a pull-through, level site and out of the way. The folks that ran the office were great, they re-assigned us to this site once we told them we were going to stay for a week. Very cool. Beware this is a campground type of RV park: dirt roads and sites. The site was level and easy access.
We stayed overnight on our way to Santa Fe and on the way home to Los Angeles. Owner is very nice and helpful. Sites are pull-throughs. They have a basic rate and added cost for cable and 50 amp service. If you have a good off air antenna or satellite you can save yourself $2.00/ night. I have a jack and the reception was great for local channels. They offer a barbecue and I would recommend you give it try. Pretty darn good and it beats going off-site for dinner.
The staff was nice but not real smart about the facilities. We camped in a motorhome and an Airstream travel trailer. They tried to put the Airstream between two trees that were 8 feet apart. Needless to say we had a problem. After quite a bit a negotiating we were able to park the Airstream. The Motorhome was easier but we were cramped. The park is old BUT is in a great setting. We would come back BUT we now know what sites to ask for. Check out the site map on the web site. It is not to scale but it will help you figure what sites will be best for your rig. Good Luck.
The park is convenient to downtown, shopping and the site of the Ramona Pageant. The pool area is excellent. We didn't spend much time in the other areas of the park. The park is well maintained. Only draw back is the park is next to a Home Depot and a Motel 8. (East end of the park) We would come back to this park if we ever come back to Hemet.
Park is very clean and well maintained. Two nice tennis courts with a ball machine. Pool areas are real nice. Park is next to the railroad tracks and the noise from the trains could be heard at all times of the day and night. I think the park is overpriced compared to other RV parks in the area.
After spending a week at this park we liked it so much that we extended for another week. There is so much to do here it is impossible to get bored. The pull through sites were narrow. Our second week we relocated to a back in site that was located among the Park Models. Much better with more room to set up, etc.
