At this price in a town like Austin, I expect decent internet. Instead they have TengoInternet that is really awful when it isn't completely down. Other than that, this is a clean campground with decent sized spaces, but in a remote location. We will not stay here again.
We stayed here overnight on our way down I-5. The staff changed our pre-paid reservation with no problem when we decided to arrive a day earlier. The sites have nice concrete pads with asphalt roads. The sites are wide, and just long enough for our 35'Class A and towed vehicle without unhitching. The internet was awful the evening we arrived, so slow it was unusable. Fortunately, there is a very nice restaurant / bar (Sweet Dixie) across the street with excellent free Wi-Fi. The internet was fine the following morning. The little downtown area was very cute with its Christmas decorations, but we had no time to explore. The excellent rate reflects CC USA discount.
We stayed here for a quick overnight on our way down I-5, so can't comment on much. The staff were very friendly and helpful getting our reservation set up for very late arrival. The internet was not working that night, possibly due to the bad weather. It was working fine the following morning. Despite being off season and foul weather, the campground was nearly full. The excellent price reflects CC USA discount.
This is a very nice and well run campground. The roads and sites are paved and well maintained. There are no trees, but other than that, sites were excellent. Lots of RV services are available, although I did not try any of them. This is an outstanding value for only $20.
Overall, this park was in good condition and the staff was very friendly. However, I was quite surprised to find no WiFi, despite it being advertised on their web site. They said routers were "on order". Other than that, no surprises. They do have a restaurant that would be handy for those wanting to eat out without leaving the campground, but I did not try the food.
This is a good, no-frills spot to stop in the middle of nowhere, and then be on your way. The sites are dirt with no sewer in the pull-throughs, but an excellent value for the $13 Camp Club USA rate. Staff was friendly. WiFi was free but available only in the clubhouse, not at the sites.
This is a nice little campground with a friendly staff. The spaces are short, but nice and wide. The rate posted reflects a 7 day, cash discount. There is no WiFi, which would usually be a showstopper for us, but there isn't a big choice in this area. The only big negative was the very small sewer inlets. They will lend you an adapter free of charge, but dumping from a large hose into a small adapter will cause some leakage. I would never dump anything but gray water through such an arrangement.
