Nice place but they are very picky. Extra charge of $3 per person for over 2 people which gets too expensive for families with teens. The monthly rate is way too high at $525 plus electric which can cost a lot in summer where it gets over 100 degrees regularly. The worst looking site with too much stuff outside belongs to an employee which is odd because no one else could get away with that. We stayed for a month but wouldn't stay that long again.

This is the nicest RV park in the Reno area as I checked them all out. Astroturf instead of grass and many rules. They reward guests who snitch on other guests for breaking the rules - very unprofessional policy. If you stay during any of the events like Hot August nights, in Reno be prepared to pay $80 or more a night. We will stay there again, only because it is the best place to stay and close to Reno.

Nice for a night or two if you want to gamble in the casino. This is NOT a resort, it is an RV park but it is NOT by Cabelas as one reviewer stated. Cabelas is by the Boomtown KOA on I-80, this park is Bordertown which is on 395. Pretty quiet, nice grass and level spaces. Staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food at the casino is good, especially their famous sandwiches.

A very clean nice smaller park. Friendly staff and shady, quiet location. No cement pads, all gravel but lots of grass. A nice alternative to the Durango RV Resort in town if you want to save a few dollars and aren't looking for a lot of fancy amenities. The pull through spaces are big, but the road in and out is rather narrow. The trees would be a problem for satellite users.

We stay here at least once a month and plan to stay for two months starting in December. The staff is unsurpassed in both helpfulness and friendliness. The amenities I didn't see listed in other reviews were the computer in the clubhouse for guest use, the putting green and the ability to wash your RV and car/truck as well as your dog! Also no sprinklers to get water spots on your rig or get your lawn chairs wet as they are all underground. Plus, trash pick up is done at your site every morning. This park is also very safe and secure with a keypad coded gate and assistant managers who patrol the park 24/7. If you plan on staying often, get a Durango card as it will save you 10% which is the amount of the occupancy tax. When they say this park is handicapped accessible, it truly is, as it even has a chair at the pool that can lower those who are handicapped into the pool. A new thing they are doing now is serving free coffee and danish in the mornings in the clubhouse. They do charge $3 per person if you have more than 2 adults or guests that spend the night or use the facilities. If you want to stay in a true RV RESORT this is the place! It is our home away from home and we love it, worth every penny!
