An OK park, however you better like trains and lots of road noise. The trains run drectly behind the park and blow their load whistle several times. Sites are very short and close together. A 38 motorhome takes up the entire site. Hookups for either power or water on the wrong side. There is a charge for water at $20.00 per 1000 gal. They advertise free Wi-Fi. You get what you pay for. While here for 3 months it was out 90% of the time. Strange there is only one shower and two bathrooms for a park this size. Mostly permanent 5th wheels that stay here year round. Many in need of replacement. I enjoy swimming and this place has an excellent huge heated pool as well as a jacuzzi. There are much better parks in the area so I would not stay here again. The rate reflects the daily rate for three months.
This park has very large sites. Very pleasant surroundings, large trees, quiet, grass between sites, concrete patios, picnic tables at each site. On site trash pick up. The downside is the pool and laundry facilities. When I asked why the pool was not heated b I was told the heater was broken and was on order. Talking with several other residents they said it has never been heated. The washer and dryers are outside the clubhouse, I mean outside. Three washers, three dryers. Two of which were out of order. Cold water only. The sign for the entrance on the highway is nearly impossible to see. It is behind another sign. We drove by the entrance twice. When I mentioned it to the manager she said the owners were going to fix that. Overall this is a great park. But the owners need to visit the park and pay attention.
his is a true hidden jewel. The spaces are huge. I would say 80 feet + long and 40 feet between each. Lots of ancient live oak trees, concrete patio, picnic table. Each site has a fire ring and the wood is free and delivered. Escort to your site. Pool was heated and clean as was the spa. Restrooms and showers were clean. Yes it is out of town, but do you want peace and quiet or camping along the freeway. The monthly rate is $370 and that includes electric. Wi-fi worked great. The cable is fuzzy but OK. I would stay here again. The rate of $24 was the weekly rate.
I have stayed here before and had a back in site. This time I choose a pull through. Different set up, head to toe so to speak. So your drivers side is very close to the next site, when the slides are out on both rigs there is but 3 feet between. On the plus side, the most important side with the concrete patio, picnic bench, door etc. is 30+ feet away from your neighbor. I liked it. Truly a great park. Clean well maintained, friendly. Activities galore, if you're into that. The entrance sign says a 5 star park. Pretty factual with one negative exception. Why would a 5 star park not have a heated pool? The rate reflects the weekly rate.
This a secluded, wooded park. Quiet and clean. The sites are gravel with grass between each. The staff was very friendly and escorted me to my site. I would have rated the park higher however, like so many they claim they offer Wi-Fi. You have Wi-Fi if you are within 30 feet of the office. I would return knowing that this is just a place to park for a day or two.
This just a place to park. Water, power and sewer nothing else. Gravel, with white dust when dry and white mud when it rains. Beyond VERY noisy. This place sits directly on the main road through town. Heavy traffic with lots of trucks and plenty of motorcycles. But this is the only game in town except for the service lots at Tiffin. Which is the same as this park, dust, mud, WiFi doesn't work but it has a laundry. Would I stay here again, guess so no other choice.
Loved this park. HUGE open grass area for walking, playing or walking your animal. My site, (#5) was level and long. This place is very quiet and the staff is exceptional. Escort to your site and ready to assist at a moments request. Benches along the river bank for visitors to enjoy the mighty Mississippi. Yes, lots of mosquitoes, but then this is the south and lots of standing water. The only reason I did not give the park a 10 was the roads to the park are very rough, I mean lots of broken pavement, and pot holes. Yes, I would stay here again and recommend the park to friends.
This is at best a parking lot with grass between sites. Upon checking in the person in the office was on the phone talking to someone about fixing his pick up. Five minutes he hung up and asked if he could help us-----hello! The sites are long and somewhat level. There was a code to get on the internet here. Of course the internet was weak and I was unable to connect. The freeway noise is horrible. A full 90% of the sites are worker bees with junk piled along side the trailers. I would not stay here again unless the situation allowed no other choice.
This is very nice park. I at first thought there were some untruths in their ad, i.e. every site has a view, but later discovered the owners have a sense of humor. My site #58 was long, large and level. Good water and voltage. A quiet place to get a good nights sleep. I would stay here again and recommend this park.
This is a OK park for a night or two. Easy access and clean. Gravel with what use to be grass between sites. Not very noisy considering the closeness to the freeway. Nice store with a varied assortment of supplies. Cable was nice, Wi-Fi is useless. Considering the lack of acceptable RV parks in Nebraska, I would stay here again for a night.
A clean park, but nothing fancy. Just a good overnight stop. The sites were wide and long. The main drawback to this park it is directly behind the Pilot truck parking lot----enough said. I would stay here again if needed.
Like all KOA parks they are overpriced for what the transient RV'r needs. However with that said, the park was very well maintained, unlike most. The sites are very large; however, my site was 30 amp. water, power, no sewer, no cable, Wi-Fii was good. Not a $41.00 value but then this is KOA. All the other parks in the area were full due to all the worker bees in the area. I would try another park just because of the price for what you get.
I liked this park because it was convenient and clean. Nothing fancy. Gravel with grass in between sites. I found my site very level. The park is 4th generation family owned and the current owner was very friendly. She has a policy of 10% discount for Good Sam and 20% for cash. I would stay here again.
Very clean well maintained park. There were lots of permanent 5th wheel and trailers for the worker bees, but not a piece of junk around any site. Finally, a park that enforces the rules. Sites were wide. I would recommend this park to any of my friends. I will stay here again.
Excellent park. Beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and valley. Very quiet, as it is located far enough away from the interstate. All sites are concrete and level with picnic tables. Rest rooms and showers are spotless. Golf course adjoins the park. I would have given the park a 10 except for the lack of pool.
Very friendly staff, as well as helpful. Sites are gravel with grass between. Well maintained for an old park. Huge trees for shade. My site (A-1) was very level. Wi-Fi worked well. This park is quiet, as it is far enough from the highway. I would stay here again.
The parks sites in the old area are very wide and level. Showers and restrooms are spotless. There are many activities for those that enjoy such. If you enjoy the desert in your ATV, this is the park for you. State trust land outside the rear gate of the park over 100 mile of trails. I would have given this park a higher rating except for the total lack of involvement by management to address violations of park rules. First issue was the person that let his dog do his business along side both vacant sites of his own. I complained to the manager, as did the camper two sites down from me. Nothing was said or done about the issue. The dog waste was still there when they left. There was one person that had five dogs. Several people took up two sites for their toys. Mud all over the roads from the dozens of ATV's that are in the park. Trash dumped along side the dumpsters. This could be a wonderful park with a manager instead of a clerk. The $18.00 is for a monthly rate.
Very clean well managed park. Sites are long concrete pads, perfectly level, with stone patio. There is free Wi-Fi for one night that is very weak and slow. I would have rated this park a 10 except for the trains. They run right behind the overnight parking area. The rate reflects the Good Sam discount.
As stated permanent residents are all closest to the road. Most are well kept. Easy on and off the interstate. Long pull-through sites and pretty level. Not much in the way of amenities, but very nice for a overnight stay. The manager/owner is extremely pleasant. No Wi-Fi available, however she let me use her personal and office code to use their Wi-Fi. A nice act if kindness. I rated it a 7 only because of the noise in the mornings of the worker bees starting trucks, slamming doors etc. I would stay here again and would recommend to my friends.
This is a beautiful park. Well maintained. Wide, long concrete pads with grass and picnic table. My site was perfectly level. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Immaculate showers and restrooms as well as the laundry facility. Free Wi-Fi worked well. The cable TV is very basic. Large pool and spa. I highly recommend this park.
Nice overnight stop. Very friendly host. Lots of permanent residents, some nice and neat, some not. My site was fairly level and had a picnic table. Sites are lons enough and wide as not to be a problem with slides. Easy access from the freeway. I would stay here again for an overnight stop.
Manager was very friendly and helpful The other people's review was not as I saw the park. My site was no where near level, #314. The side by side hookups are very far to the rear of the site. A concrete pad is located not at the door but at the rear of the site. Many permanent broken down trailers with trash around. The cable TV had one channel, when I checked in the host told me that the Wi-Fi probably won't work, that is why they don't charge for it, of course it did not work. There were dogs running loose in the park. When I brought this to the attention of the host I was told they are from the neighbors. The laundry room adds new meaning to the word filthy. Be aware of the many speed bumps. All in all this is OK for a overnight stop.
Easy to find park. Very small unheated pool. Two nice ponds, promoted as lakes. The sites are wide but VERY short. I have a 33 foot class A with a HHR tow. I hung out both front and back. The couple next to me had a class C 32 foot with a pick up tow. They un-hooked to fit in the PULL THROUGH. The cable TV was not working, Wi-Fi was weak, and that cost $2.50 (worth 25 cents). Lots of freeway noise as this park sits along side Interstate 40. All in all it is fine for a overnight stop. Otherwise Barstow is your next stop: yuk. Rate with Wi-Fi and Good Sam discount was $33.50.
This is a snowbird park. A few park models. Lots of permanent 5th wheels and trailers. Nearly all were well kept. There is considerable road noise as the park sets directly on Hwy 60. This park has many guests that have ATV's as it adjoins BLM land. Beautiful views of the mountains and desert. There are only 450 mail boxes so there is no where near 700 sites. All are dirt and with very little gravel, small concrete patio , as stated if it rains be prepared for mud. Only three showers and three bathrooms for this large park, however I never needed to wait for a shower. Very large laundry room. New huge activities center, new pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, excessive equipment, Bacci ball, and shuffle board courts. No cable but several English stations on the antenna. The Wi-Fi was the best I have had at any park, and free. I would have given this park a 10 if not for the road noise and the management not solving a barking dog problem that I brought to their attention. Another inconsiderate dog owner. The rate was based on a monthly stay.
I just made this a overnight stop. A very friendly staff. The park is clean and sites large and level. They all have shade due to the mature walnut and pecan trees. A little noise from the freeway but not enough to disturb your sleep. I would stay here again for a day or longer.
As stated this is one fine RV park. Check in is a breeze, escort to your site, all fees collected at your site, (cash or check only). Sites are separated by beautiful Oleander hedges. Turns are a little tight, however I had no problem with a 34 foot class A with a tow. Site was level and had a concrete patio. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was a nice treat with the unseasonable 101 degree temp. However it is not heated and was a little cool. No cable TV but free Wi-Fi that worked very well. Also nice and quiet, a real treat after so many noisy freeway parks. Stay here, you won't be disappointed.
As others have stated this a fine overnight stop. I found the sites to be long, wide and easy to move in and out. There are several pot holes and ruts throughout the park, however attempts have been made to fill in most. I found the noise from the truck plaza not a problem. The pool was filthy, but I believe it was too early in the season to be open. Tile, clean, private and roomy showers.
