No hookups & the sites weren't the easiest to get level on, but this is a National Park campground and those things were expected. Such a beautiful campground with easy access to some of the best hiking in Glacier National Park. If you want to experience the best of GNP, this is a great place to camp. Wish it had reservations, but would try camping here again before going anywhere else in the area.
Mountain views, but there are no trees within the campground. Has a good size pool with hot tub, but the restrooms and showers were just okay. Close to East Glacier and the greatest pie shop/cafe around. Convenient to other activities also. Would choose this campground again if desiring full hookups, but enjoyed the Many Glacier campsite more.
Great sites, large and level, and they come with a great host family! Definitely THE cleanest campground we have ever stayed at. If this campground was closer to home, it would definitely be a favorite vacation/weekend destination.
Don't like back-to-back sites. Not much else to do in the campground but park your RV. That said, the campground is in a beautiful area, close and easy access to the town of Banff for plenty of shopping and restaurant options. Would likely stay here again if in the area.
Ugly: the train! It's horn kept us up all night! We left and went to a first-come, first-serve campground for the other time we spent in the Lake Louise area. The area is beautiful, but is lacking in shops and restaurants that can be found in the Banff city area. Would definitely look for other facilities if in the area again.
