A great campground. Their beach is no longer open, there is another camp site there now. The camp sites are far apart and beautiful; the restrooms are clean, but far away. Beautiful views and lots of water and a great ramp and parking area.
It's a nice State Park! Areas 1 and 2 are for campers, travel trailers and motorhomes. Area 3 is for tents and popups, etc. only. There are lots of playgrounds, picnic areas, pavilions and a store and huge swimming pool and Frisbee golf, etc. There are cabin rentals and ATV trails (ATV's cannot be ridden within the campground area.)
Normandy Campground is beautiful. For those of you who haven't been there: there are 3 public showers/restrooms and lots of lake sites, the sites are 50/30/110 electric and water. There are picnic tables and BBQ stands and fire pits at each site. There is a beach area with sand and a boat dock just for the camp ground and a public use boat dock. On the negative side: some sites were a little too close together; and a few more trees would have been nice.
