We would have given this resort a rating of 11 or 12 if we could. This is a beautiful, quiet park with great amenities. There was a free shuttle to anywhere you wanted to go in the vicinity. First class all the way.
Great facilities, nice setting and friendly staff. This resort caters to the higher end RVs as witnessed by the very large number of enormous motor homes. The only complaint we had was yappy little dogs staying nearby - just about anything set them off. We would stay here again.
The weather was terrible and there weren't very many people staying so it was quite private - it might seem less so when busy but the sites seemed wide and were level. The casino was fun, the food cheap and the staff friendly. Pretty expensive laundromat - a load of towels cost $4.50 to wash and dry.
The location is not in a particularly pretty area but the campsite is well maintained. There is not a lot of separation between sites but because we were almost the only ones staying there was plenty of room/privacy. The showers were being renovated and weren't ready for use so they rushed to get 2 ready for us and provided us with free tokens. We would stay here again if passing through.
The serviced sites were very close but the unserviced sites were private and roomy. We wished we'd sucked it up and gone without water and electricity because this would have been a wonderful spot for dry camping. Overall this was a very pretty park with glorious scenery. The only complaint we had was that there were only 2 showers each for men and women which caused lineups in the morning.
This is an amazingly beautiful state park. There are great hikes, large sites and super clean washrooms. The camp hosts were friendly and full of great bits of information. We had one of the 4 sites with full services but our hosts told us there are plans for an additional 5 full-service sites this year. We stayed 3 days but wished we'd planned for longer.
This parks as no redeeming physical attributes. It is an open field with sites that are too close located near a noisy highway. The bathrooms and showers were OK but the doors on the toilets didn't lock. There was a bad smell in the area which could have been agricultural and nothing to do with the site. Our GPS couldn't find this address but the instructions on the web site worked well.
