Nice park with mostly pull thru sites. Level, concrete pads, plenty of room for 40' fifth wheel plus truck. Nice office staff, pool, hot tub, small store, laundry only $1.25 & 1.00. Some kind of wild flowers separate sites instead of grass but not too bad. Only downside is the WiFi, which is mostly non-existent. And the water pressure was a little low for my liking. Our Verizon card worked fine though. Lodi is only 5 miles away and has pretty much everything.
This is the second time we have stayed here. The rate reflects weekly rate of $195. Park is beautifully landscaped, sparkling clean. Pool and hot tub are nice, spaces are level with concrete patios, grassy area between sites. Plenty of room for 40' RV and truck. Laundry is spotless and only $1.25 for wash/ dry. Utilities good, cable good, Wi-Fi good most of the time. Office staff friendly and helpful. Small store has most essentials and big bags of ice for only $1! Best thing about this park is the super wide roads, making back-ins easy. Good location a few blocks from 99. Even though it says "river access", it's actually a dry river bed. Only suggestion to make this a 10 would be to add picnic tables and fire pits. Will definitely be back.
Decent park, good location. Walking distance to stores, bar, short drive to groceries. Good cable and Wi-Fi. Sites are level concrete with room for vehicle, picnic tables on sites. OK laundry room. Our site was very quiet with nice big tree. Weekly rate is only $175. If in Fresno again, would definitely stay again.
Great campground in the heart of the Redwoods. Nice big sites, needed a little leveling. Quiet area and beautiful park but a few miles drive to groceries, etc. Park hosts very friendly. Water, elec, cable good. Wi-Fi has hotspots so depending where your site is, works ok but intermittent. Would definitely stay again.
Nice park, only about half full. Lots are cement and level but fairly tight if you had neighbors on both sides. Nice front office, good power, water, cable. Wi-fi mostly good, server down a few times for a very short time. Would stay again.
Nice park, good power, water, cable, Wi-Fi. We had a nice spot with a huge shade tree. Nice pool. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. The only reason it didn't get a 10 was no hot tub. Will come again.
Nice park, pretty typical KOA. Good power, water, nice swimming pool. The only reason for the lower rating is I think it's a little overpriced. But, if you need to stay in this area, about the only game in town. Nice shady pull through sites are a plus.
Good little quiet park. Good location, close to Monterey and Santa Cruz. Good electric, water, cable, strong Wi-Fi. Couple downsides are: the park gets really busy on the weekends, and the sewer connection is higher than the RV outlet (we were parked on a hill). Other than that, nice park, fishing on site, closes at sundown so it's really quiet at night. Would stay again.
Small, quiet park with level gravel sites. Plenty of room for vehicle and BBQ. Water and electric good. Cable TV was in and out and Wi-Fi is a little weak but workable. Nothing in the area but desert. If you want a nice, quiet, secure spot while in the Barstow area, this is the place. Rate reflects weekly rate ($145), very nice manager. Does have a laundry room and sells propane on site. Would stay again if in the area.
This is a nice quiet, safe park with lots of mature trees. It has a friendly staff and neighbors. There are many long term residents here but we had no issues with them. The park is only a few miles from everything you need, shopping, restaurants, etc. There is good water, electric, free strong Wi-Fi, free cable with about 20 channels. The only downside is the park is mostly gravel roads and gravel sites, a little sloppy in the rain. It is a bit tricky getting into the pull through sites as there were trees on both sides and we have slides on both sides. It feels like you're living in the wooded country although it is close to conveniences. We would stay here again when in the area.
Nice small park, almost completely full with long term or monthly campers. We had a pull through site (one of five) which was level with a concrete pad big enough for chairs and BBQ. Very friendly camp manager, very helpful with guiding into site and area info. Good water, electric, and cable (about 30 channels not counting Spanish stations). Will stay here again if in the area.
Beautiful park in a great area, only minutes to Palm Springs. Good water pressure, level sites, each site separated by hedges from neighbor, plenty wide for sitting out & BBQ. Lots of Canadians camp here, very friendly people. Sites are a little tricky to back into but once there, you will love it. Great heated pool and two hot tubs, which are little used. Has on site golf course, although we don't golf. Rate reflects monthly rate. Hope to get back here again!
Very basic, big grass field with hookups. Good power, good water pressure, no internet but our Verizon air card worked well. With TV antenna up, only got about 5 channels and they were sketchy. Only park in the surrounding area so I would stay again if in the area, you get what you pay for.
This is by far the best camp we have been in lately. The sites are large, easy to get into, and has a picnic table and grassy area at each site. Good power and water pressure. Internet works great, cable TV has about 100 channels. The main lodge building is nice with TV and fitness machines. The laundry is clean and the hot tub is awesome! Big enough for 11 but I'm usually the only one there. The staff is very friendly, helpful and guides you to your site. I hope to get to this area again and will definitely stay here again. This rate is for a pull-through site with AAA discount.
First the pros: Good location, safe area, nice camp hosts. Next the cons: VERY tight spaces, no amenities, laundry is a drive. This is one of the only parks in the area (working in Fremont) so we gave it a try. The sites are very tight, especially if there are vehicles parked across from you. It took about 1/2 hr to get our 33ft.fifth wheel backed in. And it's not big enough to park the truck too without encroaching on neighbor's space. This is just a big parking lot but does have full hookups. The camp hosts are very nice and full of information about the area. Pleasanton is a nice town with everything you might want or need. Nothing except the fairgrounds is walking distance. Plus, if you have another vehicle, it will cost you $6 extra per night. I would only stay here again if we need to be close to the Fremont area. I've seen much better parks, even for the $28 price. But, good location and safe area.
The only park in the area. Nice and clean, quiet, safe, mostly pull throughs with about 4ft.between sites. Wi-Fi is $1/day (didn't use it). If you have to be in this area, good place to stay, right off the freeway but no noise. Closest store is in Coalinga, 8 mi.away.
Very small park with mostly permanent residents. We parked in one of the four overnight spots for a week. Easy pull-through with a very small grass area out front with a picnic table at each site. Lots of kids running around so if you don't mind the noise, it's a nice little park. About the only place in the area. Would stay again.
This is a 55+ mobile home park that also rents RV sites. Very nice and quiet. Managers are very friendly though the site we were in was right up against the permanent mobile home next to us. If you like quiet, safe, reasonably priced ($175/wk), convenient location, this is the place to be. Downside, not much space for sitting out in front of RV.
Very nice park, lots of shade, great pool area, many amenities. I didn't rate higher because I think the price was high for the area, we paid over $400 with the weekly rate. Close to town and freeways, convenient even though you're out of town.
Nice park if you like being out in the country. Very quiet, nice staff, big clean pool. Closest town with amenities is Hollister, a bit of a drive. But, if you want a peaceful, outdoor stay with plenty of wildlife to watch, stay here.
