PROS: Nice walking/biking trail in the campground that links to the Boise Greenbelt. Sites are spacious. Very dog-friendly. Very close to all that Boise has to offer and walking distance to several restaurants. Try tubing down the Boise River for a fun weekend afternoon! CONS: Buggy during the summer (and a lot of yellow jacket nests). We will return.

This campground is very overpriced for the location and amenities. Fifty to fifty five/night for a 30 amp with no cable. The dog park is unsanitary and smells so strongly of urine we would not take our dog there. The sites are very cramped. The main reason I will never stay at this park again is the extremely rude staff at the front desk. We noticed a mistake in our bill and had to move sites because we couldn't get DISH reception and we were treated so poorly when we went into the office to make the changes, we ended up canceling most of our stay and left early. Stay at the local state parks nearby and save a lot of money and hassle.

PROS: Well-kept park. Friendly staff. Sites level, good cell and personal Wi-Fi reception. Close to restaurants and unique shopping. Good road to run on near the campground. Dog-friendly and a small dog park and a dog wash. If you have time, sign up for the Manhattan B Reactor Tour - it is a must do if you can snag a spot on the tour. CONS: Small pool. Not a lot of shade; very hot during the summer. We will return.

PROS: Well-spaced and level sites. Loved the private dog beach. Very dog-friendly campground. Great shopping and dining within a 5-minutes drive. Nice laundry room open 24/7. Nice wildlife viewing! Close to running trails and boat rentals are available. CONS: Grounds were very marshy/muddy during our stay. Fenced in dog park is gravel, not grass. A lot of hornet/yellow jacket nests around the campground - watch out!

PROS: Good location near shopping and restaurants. Nice shady spots and decent-sized spaces (no problem putting out slides). Nice walking trails and good for dogs. Relatively quiet. CONS: Limited satellite reception, no Verizon Wi-Fi connection, limited AT&T cell. Some sites aren't level. Have to reserve on state park website with a fee. No laundry of course with a state park. We will return.
