Close to I-81 but there is no noise from it. Have used this park several times and owners are always improving it. All utilities were good. All sites are pull-through. There is a food store within 1 mile, Flying J about 1/2 mile. Would return again
Sites are OK, the issue is that there is a big slope up to the pad and down off it. Utilities were good. Easy check-in, free daily paper. Most are pull-throughs. It's about 8 miles to shopping. We would use this campground again.
Just an ok campground good for a overnighter. Some of the sites they use for overnighters will be tight when you leave. Get there early to a easy out site. Utilities worked well. Fulltimers do walk thru your site when ever they want. Would look elsewhere next time.
Good overnight park. Very long pull-through's. Easy in and out. Utilities good. Cable had over 50 channels. All sites gravel are level and wide. The price of $20 is a good value. Would return again if in the area.
Nice park in a beautiful area of Colorado. Sites and roads are gravel, long and level. Wi-Fi was terrible: unable to log on the week we were here. No service for Verizon Mi-Fi but ATT phone worked well. Half the park are owner sites that are very nice and people were friendly. No cable TV, the water pressure was good, the electric was good. Just a little over priced without cable and Wi-Fi. Would return again if in the area.
Expensive for a large gravel parking lot but, it is very clean and neat. Wide sites that are level with good utilities and fast Wi-Fi. Some sites have a cement patio for a extra $4. Close to Grand Gorge and Skyline Drive. The real negative is the price with no cable or pool the rate is just too high
Nice little park about 16 miles South of Colorado Springs. Granite rock roads and sites, and it does a nice job keeping dust down. Sites were wide and long. Utilities were good. Not all sites have cable: numbers 1 through 52 do, 53 through 86 do not. It seems most come here for the season and are very friendly. We would come back if in the area.
A somewhat difficult campground to review fairly. The scenery is a “10” with the mountains and the waterways and all the animals that you can see. The resort itself is a “9” featuring a grocery store, restaurant, a visitor center, marina, boat cruises, rentals for bikes and other water craft plus hiking trails. The sites themselves leave a lot to be desired. All could use a truck load of gravel to get them level. All pull through but cannot leave the tow hooked up. In their present state I would not like to be here in a rain storm it would be very muddy mess! Satellite reception is impossible with a heavy tree canopy. Use caution coming in some low branches lot of trees on each side of the sites. So I can only rate the site a 7. Others seem to rate the cg higher but they need to open their eyes and rate the camp site itself and not the beauty around it This is a commercial run “resort” at $55 per night that needs improvement and with no cable, no Wi-Fi other than in a area by the main building and unlevel sites. If this was in another “resort” campground other than a National Park everyone’s rating would be much lower with a lot of griping. Would I come back here again: yes hopefully with improved sites.
Very professional RV resort, right from the staff as you come in and to your site. Roads are wide and paved, RV sites are gravel, level and long enough to leave toad attached.. Utilities were good but not many channels on cable, wi-fi fast. Most sites can get satellite. Grass between sites and plenty of room. Would come back again.
Nice campground and well run. Very spacious sites that are gravel with plenty of grass between rigs,. Utilities were good, Wi-Fi very fast. Close to major shopping. Nice flowers adorn the park. Would return again
A nice clean well run campground. Level grass sites with good utilities. They have about 7 50amp sites and the rest are 30amp all pull through. The folks that run it are very pleasant and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They will walk you to your site to make sure you like it. A good no frills CG and very reasonably priced. Would come back again.
While not a fan of KOA, this one can make you a believer that there is hope for other KOAs. The staff was excellent as were the work campers. There is a lot of maintenance being done and it shows. The roads are gravel and the sites have grass with room between sites. Not all sites have sewer and 50amp but it does not detract from a well run campground. Water and electric were good. Thee are great views of the Mission mountains and Flathead Lake This might be the only KOA we would come back to.
Nice little park tucked in the woods. Sites were level and utilities good Nice path thru the woods to S.Flathead river. Close to GNP 8 miles away. Yes, you do get the riot act about dogs but it does keep everything equal. I would like to rate this park higher but with no cable, gravel pads and roads and limited sites where you can get satellite I cannot. The rate was weekly. I would come back again
An OK campground. Close to Glacier east entrance (65mi). Level sites, good utilities; not all sites have cable, and none have sewer. Very windy there as you sit on a bluff above the Cut Bank River. Basic stores in town. Good for a short term.
Nice roomy COE campground with just electric (50/30 amp). Sites were level and deep--most 45 feet plus. Its easier to get your water before you come in. The water and dump is just past the campground west on Route 24. Tough to get weekends, locals book them early, but quiet during the week. Good fishing. Helpful host.
Come self contained: no services. You can fill up water directly across from camp host site as you come in on the left. Nightly wildlife shows as the bison and wild horse's come through the campground to the river. Great scenic drive in the cg. Would come back again!
Price reflects weekly rate. Very nice resort. The store has some food snacks, a liquor store and makes breakfast and lunch. Heated pool, 2 spas, individual rest rooms with vanity’s and showers. Plenty of cable channels and lots of space between sites. All utilities were good. The only negative is very few site pads were level. All seemed to slope to the front, a lot of rigs had their wheels off the ground. Knowing this you can prepare to make your adjustments. This is the only reason for not giving the place a “10.”
Price reflects weekly rate. Nice CG, well run on the edge of town. Owners very nice and give good info on what to do in the area. Sites are very, very tight. Recommend calling to get a site because they are full every night. Utilities were good, cable has a lot of channels. Would return again but only as a overnight, as the sites are just too close!
Very nice campground. A nice spot for kids with 5 pools and water slides for fun all day. Utilities were good. The only negative is sites are extremely tight to the point of almost tripping over your neighbor’s sewer hose. The roads are just as tight with a 40'MH.
Nice park, well run and in a good area for visiting Capital Reef NP. It’s a very dusty park as all roads and sites are gravel. Re-graveling them with rock and not stone dust would really help. Utilities were good although the electric was a little on the low side 112v. The pool was very small for the amount of sites they have. Rate reflects weekly discount
Real basic campground, no extra services. Good for overnight. Very strange setup for pull-throughs. You leave the park and go around the block and come in a different entrance. There are 7 pull-throughs 80 ft long and the balance are back-ins, all gravel. The services were good. High water pressure needs a reducer.Would not come back as there are plenty of campgrounds in the area to choose from.
A little disappointed in this campground being labeled a “resort”. It’s a resort if you are staying in the hotel area and not the CG. Sites were never cleaned from previous campers, charcoal grills unusable because they were full of spent charcoal, fire rings full of trash wood, bottles, and cigarette butts, etc. Never saw anyone clean any site in the week we were here. The good: nice views of Lake Powell Pads were cement all utilities were good. Plenty to do in the area. Maybe we would come back.
Good campground for short stays. Sites were very clean and close to Mesa Verde. Voltage was low on our site (20) anywhere from 106-118v, water & sewer was ok. Sites were level but gravel. Owners were friendly
Very nice campground in the valley just north of Durango. Sites were level and gravel. Plenty of room between sites, although most seem to be side by side. Excellent office staff; very helpful (work campers). Wi-Fi worked good as did utilities. Would come back again.
It's an OK campground nothing special. Office staff not overly friendly. Right in town off a busy hwy with some noise. A good base for going to the National Parks nearby. Utilities were good. Wi-Fi not that good, keeps dropping out. Would look to other campgrounds in the area
Very nice campgrounds run by the state. The cactus was in bloom while we were here which added something special. Windy everyday which helped keep the temps comfortable. Electric was good even the breakers at 30 amp held a full load without tripping. The cg is 14 miles is north of town. Short drives to sitting bull falls SP or Caverns NP. Would return if in the area
Very nice and a well run campground. The check in was quick and easy. Sites are a little tight but easy to get in and out of. All utilities were good. Close to town but quite at night. Lots to do in the area. We were there four days and still did not see everything. Would come back if in the area again
Very nice campground. The office staff is very helpful and friendly and gives you a lot of information on local events. The park is spotless with good utilities. What the park lacks is a security gate at the entrance. You get the feeling that anyone can just drive in and cruise the CG. I rated the park a 9 but..the area outside a. As others have stated it's in a bad area. Even when grocery shopping you just don’t feel comfortable. I would not return.
Good for an overnight if traveling on I-20. Close to some gambling on the river boats. You cannot stay hooked up if using a motorhome, as the pads are too short. Utilities were good; the Wi-Fi was good; and there were a lot of cable TV channels. There is a ant problem on some sites. There is some train noise.
Great little no frills CG on the banks of the Mississippi. A good place to kick back and watch the tugs and barges. Close to Memphis attractions and very good BBQ. Utilities were good, not all sites can get satellite so ask at the desk at check in. River sites have the best view.
Pretty much a long term park with new RV sites in a separate area. All utilities were good. Fort Myers the nearest good shopping. Town is mostly migrant workers working sugar cane and oranges. The owners were friendly as was the tenants in the park.
Its a OK short term but overpriced. It properly covers the people that don't pay. Would come back again just for a over nite. Sites listed as pull through but they are not, unless you block the travel lane.
Excellent campground and Resort. About 90% pull throughs and will handle any size rig. The back in's are along the lake. Well landscaped and spotless although a little close. You can Wash your rig on your on site. Good cable and Wi-Fi. Would certainly come back again.
Very nice park, management and campers were very friendly. The rate we paid is non member. The only negative here is the sewers run up hill to connection and long run of hose 25’ as all utilities are to the rear. Plenty of activities for the whole family. Very enjoyable park, best in the area.
This park needs a lot of work. As the previous poster stated the water still has not improved. The owner states the brown color is from chlorine in his water system. The 4 weeks we were there we had 3 filter changes…hello chlorine does not clog up filters! The electric is substandard, voltage reads 118v until you put a load on it then it drops under 109v this will cause a lot of problems to electronics. We used an autoformer to make up the difference. There is no cable as advertised you rent a DirecTV box for 25.00 per week if you want TV. If you come late after 6:30pm you get charged a late fee! There are only 2 50amp sites all others are 30amp. There is no maintenance at all in this park and it shows. The grass was cut twice in a month’s time. The couple of high reviews this place had previously must have come from the owners or a seasonal rental. Bypass this place!
Nice COE Park. The real nice sites were along the water loop with plenty of space and level. We stayed in the upper loop not quite as level and short sites for a 40' MH. Difficult runs to the utilities (long) needed 60 feet of electric cable to make the box.
Nice enough park but not a 9 as others posters wrote. Had alot of problems with electric (voltage too high). Very dusty gravel roads, all sites need a few yards of gravel to level them side to side. Clean bath houses. Nice owners, close to attractions and nice countryside.
Very nice COE as are most. Sites are large to fit most size RVs. The staff and ranger were very helpful. Kerr Lake is beautiful. While we were here the world’s record was set for a blue catfish at 143lbs, was set. The closest town is Clarksville 7miles away. Electric and water were good. Would come back again.
Nice park but crowded. Electric, water and cable TV were good. Plenty of Quebec’s who pretend they don’t understand English. We stayed in the upgraded section which was worth the extra money. Plenty to do in the area but very expensive along the boardwalk. Jet noise was constant the 4 days we were here, one night till 1:30AM. The flight path appears to be over the CG. Nice to see and hear in the beginning but gets old quick. This is not a knock on the cg, it’s not their fault. We probably would not come back.
Nice park but as other poster said very tight both backing in and leaving the site GO SLOW and have a spotter. The check in booths are to tight when driving a motorhome. Now the good very transportation system for getting around the park Christmas time is a great time to see Disney.
Nice park which is close to RT 95. Mostly pull through sites: some are short where you need to unhook (deluxe sites) and these sites do not have cable TV. Pool is being built now and be ready in spring. Plenty of room between sites. Good water and electric. Will return again.
OK campground for a overnight but not long term. Sites are very close and your neighbor's sewer connection is right alongside your picnic table to the point of tripping over the hose! Electric and water were good. Wi-Fi did not work well. The campground was full for the holiday weekend, and the smoke just lies in the camp. Really overpriced for what you get. It’s the only campground in a area with lots to do. Maybe we will come back again.
Very nice COE. Water and electric was good. Well spaced-out camp sites on cement pads. Nice town of Wellsboro is 15 miles away, also the Grand Canyon of PA is 22 miles. Lake sites have no sewer. Would camp here again.
Top notch campground from the owners and workers to the large sites. Plenty of things to within a 1 hour ride. Highly recommend this CG it’s the best we have seen in this state, a good model for others!
Nice CG. Very large sites on grass, well maintained. Probably the best of the three in this area. Owners are very nice. Good cable TV, electricity and water. Located 15 minutes from Rome for shopping. Needs a pool. We would return if in the area.
While we did not stay here we took a drive through the CG to see what it looked like. The other posters were right on the mark. Almost all fulltime residents and not many other sites available to camp on. Would not camp here. There are others in the area!
Very nice CG right on the St Lawrence, with good views of the ships going by. The owners are about the nicest people we have meet in quite some time, they really care about their guests and remember your name. The CG itself has some 50 amp sites but mostly 30 amps all backins. The water pressure is good, baths very clean. Mostly a 50+crowd camping here so it was nice and quiet. Would come back again. The rating is a solid "8"
Good quiet CG on the Mohawk River with friendly owners. Lots of trees so no satellite, but the cable TV hookup makes up for it. Electric and water are good. Sites are a little tight but do-able. Heavy mosquitos but you are on a river so its hard to get away from them. Not a family park as there's nothing for kids to do.
Nice CG with ample room between sites. The electric and water are good. Bath houses are very dated and somewhat clean. Nice owners until you exceed the speed limit of 5 mph. Because it is very dusty here you will not be able to keep your rig clean. All sites are 30amp except for a few 50amps near the seasonal sites. The Seasonals are very friendly. A good family park!
Nice campground: it's very family oriented and has alot to offer. The friendly staff are mostly young kids working the desk. We were in a 40ft motorhome and that's about the limit here. Very tight with trees, both for pulling in and for the slideouts. Fine for pop-ups, trailers and most fivers. Only has 30 amp service; cable TV was bad with 15 stations and not clear. There is no satellite because of the trees, even with a portable.
The setting was as others said, just breathtaking! If we ever return we would ask for a backin along the woods line. The pull through sites were muddy and not level, all of them slanted down. To be level the front wheels would be off the ground! Baths and showers were filthy. The pool was very clean, electric good as was the cable TV, water pressure was a little low. Probably would not return.
Nice clean park close to the interstate and things to do in the area. A little work to get the rig level, but not bad. Good cable 125 stations, real tough to get Sat. because of trees. Needs a pool for the hot days. Would come back again,
Stayed three nights and would prefer not come back again. Garbage cans on each site, were never picked up while we were here, to the point of overflowing this in 90*+ heat! Not much grass area for dogs just rock and pavement. Easy to get in but problematic to get out. Very tough turns, so take your time. Most sites are pull-though with stone. Water pressure is very low, cable TV was good as was electric. Half the park were seasonals. I know alot of people rated this GC higher and frankly I don't know why. Next time we are in the area it will be Wal-Mart!
Nice park as others have said. Our rate reflects the weekly rate. Would have rated it higher but there's no pool, and if you stay in the rear area of the park you will hear the trains all day and night! There is some noise from I-65 but not bad. Great owners, sites are very neat and level. Plenty to do in the area, all within 35 miles from the CG.
Been here several times and still enjoy it just like the first time. Easy access to I-75 and I-64. Large sites in width but not depth in most sites. A 40ft MH is close to the limit although I have seen 43ft in some sites. Plenty of campfires and smoke on weekends. Pay Wi-Fi.
Very nice park but overpriced! Almost all sites are pull-through although you really can't keep the toad connected. Good place to take in Nashville. Has friendly staff, and a well supplied store. Would give it a 10, but the price gives it a 9. Has some spots for satellite. It's kid friendly.
This is a brand new resort with about 90 sites when finished. The park is still under construction with about 20 sites usable as of this writing. Pool area laundry showers and landscaping are not complete.Owners expect to to finish at the end of June. The site we used was cement but not level (#43) and appears the other sites will be the same. A lot of money spent for sites not to be level. Directions from Rt 441 turn on Rt 321 south approximately 8 mi towards Townsend, park on left.
A nice campground, close to attractions, the staff was great. The sites were a little too close though. The grounds were well maintained as were the utilities. Has a good pond for fishing. There is some train noise as well as road traffic. Over all, it's a nice CG.
Cut and paste is the easiest way way to rate this campground All the reviews were spot on. The owners really make you feel comfortable. They know what a campground should be! Will always come back to this one when in the area.
Stayed here a week and loved it. They just opened a new gated section just for class A's: 170 sites both for rent and sale. Sites are 100+x 50 with concrete pad. Some sites back to the Ocala NP. This section is 55+. Enjoyed it so much we ended up buying a site!!! The new section is called "The Preserve."
Great park, the best in the area. As other posters have stated. Still no pool. The owner is still trying to complete this project as well as others. Very nice people camp here for the winter every year. We would stay here again.
Very nice resort, it has everything you could want in a resort. We rented for 1 mo for $1200 thru TGO you can do a lot better if you rent from owners saving a couple hundred. I rated the resort a 10 but not the full time residents they were very snooty and unfriendly! It appears they do not like renters. My best advice is to say you are thinking of buying in and becoming a resident then you will be accepted.
You can't beat this place for a overnight or a few down days. Clean and quite with plenty of room on sites. Good cable or open enough for Satellite. Close to I-81 / I-77. Another plus is storage for your rig at 4.00 per with elect. Would certainly stop here again.
Very nice CG. Stayed 1 wk and enjoyed our stay. The check in was the fastest and most professional we have seen yet, as full timers. Sites were good with easy setup and level. Cable had 65 channels. Our only complaint was sewer connections on some sites were too high above the ground which made it a little tricky for dumping. Would stay here again by far the nicest one along RT 441.
Nice setting as far as views go, only 25 from Nashville Interior roads were in terrible shape. Holes ,ruts and narrow. In need of repair. Sites were easy to level. No room to sit outside because sites are cut into a slope. Some sites OK for Sat. Not a destination park, OK for overnight, or to visit Nashville for a day. Maybe on a return.
Close to attractions in Nashville 15 miles but too close to I-65 noise. Campground is OK for a few days. Paved roads are narrow, gravel sites fairly level. Sites are tight and very busy. CG overflow parks on the roads preventing early starts. Staff was very nice and helpful. Entertainment on Thursdays and $ BBQ. Not everyone picks up after their pet!
Very nice campground right in the heart of 9 Casino's. All sites are level and easy to get in even for the largest rigs. Close to Memphis, Tn (20 miles). Major shopping in Southhaven. Would stay again if in the area.
OK Campground for a short stay to visit Hot Springs GPS could not locate cg address. Location is 5300 Grand E. Ave. Not RT 70! as web site suggest. Or N34*32.609' W092*52.981'. No pads, gravel sites not level but doable. Nice staff very friendly and pleasant Close to HS. Make sure you visit bath house row. Would stay again just for Hot Springs.
Boy, it's hard to add to the previous post's. Its been a while since we have stayed in a nicer CG than this. Nice pull-throughs, ideal for motorhomes, close to Branson but, out of the hustle of the city. Great owners and staff very friendly. Spotless baths and showers as well as the surrounding campsites. A perfect model for all campgrounds. We stayed 2 weeks and would come back again!
Looked foward to camping here however we were greatly disappointed. Reservations were made 2 months prior for two 40ft motorhomes. The staff put us in a site's made for a 35 ft site at best. We each tried to level our coaches several times and could not even come close (sites 120, 121) This you don't need after traveling 300+ miles The staff could not relocate us. At the time there were other empty sites(?). Which didn't look very level. They could not accommodate us so they offered a refund taking about 45 minutes to get our money back... The campgrounds looked nice and that's as far as we got. There are enough campgrounds in the area so finding others should not be a problem. We would not come back!!
