We affirm that AT&T is dead here. My next door neighbor was dead with Sprint too. This is odd as the CG is only 3 miles off I-95. Our site (109) was very shady but near the main highway so there was some noise. The biggest disappointment was the extremely small pad and almost no patio area (which was unimproved sandy ground). Wi-Fi seems to work most of the time for our 2 days and counting. The pedestal power and cable TV were good, as well as the water pressure. So if you are planning to chat on your ATT cellphone or spend a lot of time on your patio, you should try another place.
I spent 4 nights on site 29. The park is very clean and well kept and is on a large body of mostly fresh water. the sites are heavily shaded but I was lucky enough to find a hole in the trees to get HD TV! The sites are very large, but with all the trees, getting my 43 footer in took a lot of planning and caution. My main complaint other than no sewer is the sites are totally sandy. This will get into the RV in great quantities. I will be back!
I was on site 34, a pull through facing south with no shade or patio area, just sloping grass. The park is very clean and well kept and is run by the city of Greenville. The utilities were very good and WiFi was strong on this site. Other sites are more shaded but some of them don't have sewer. There are several small lakes/ponds on the property and a walking trail to explore. Overall a very nice quiet, clean park.
A very clean park but tiny sites. They are very narrow with very small patio. I barely have room for my hammock and almost no room for my toad, as I am on a curve and afraid my toad will get hit by a big rig trying to make the corner. As said before, the park is no5 in Destin, but east at Miramar Beach and is a 5 minute walk to the beach. It is not in sight from the campground. It seems to be very payment orientated. No refunds within a month of arrival and very pricey to boot! We are here only because of short notice of a wedding we needed to attend. There are quite a few open sites and it's spring break. Maybe too costly? We won't be back. It's just not worth it.
