We arrived at this park late April intending to stay for a month. The park is so nice, and there is so much to see in the area that we extended for the 3 month special rate. The park is maintained in excellent condition. The owners are constantly sponsoring events such as dinners and movies to make the stay enjoyable. The work campers are all friendly. The rate I quoted reflects the 3 month rate.
This formerly private park was taken into the KOA family a few years ago. Have stayed here several times over the last 4 years. As we are transiting and only need a site for one night, we ask for "out front" where the sites have 30/50 amps and water. The sites are clean, unimpeded, and the checkin process always seems to go well. I would highly recommend this park.
I needed a one night stay to visit a friend that lived nearby. Prepaid the reservation and was assured that a pull thru 50 amp site was assigned. Arrived at 2PM on the date of the reservation (a Sunday) and the office attendant was leaving the premises. She asked my name and handed me an envelope with direction to my assigned site. I went there and learned the breaker on the 50 amp outlet was not functional. I called the office, and no answer. I called Encore reservations and asked if a maintenance person could fix the issue - not a big job to change the breaker. Was not possible. I think that an corporation that bills it CG as a "Superpark" in the high season in FL should have better service than this. I certainly expected on site maintenance personnel. I would be reluctant to stay here again at the price charged.
We were traveling from FL to PA and needed a one night stay and chose this park. We asked for a 50 amp site, but none were available. I was told that there was a 68' long pull thru site with 30 amps. I agreed. On getting to the park, we were given wrong directions to our site. Rectified that by re circling the loops. The entrance to our site was very tight and never could have made it without very careful guidance from a friend. Trees impeded the other end of the pull thru, so I had to back out of the assigned site the next morning. This park needs work and should not be advertised for "Big Rigs". I travel towing a CR-V.
