This is all gravel and close. Shared facilities, in that every other RV is pulled forward, so you share your very limited patio area. We've traveled from Florida to the West Coast staying in several KOAs and I'm becoming disenchanted with them. They just charge too much for not much. We have stayed in beautiful non-KOA parks and generally pay about $8 less.
We loved it here. Pulled into site and immediately signed up for another night. Wish we could've stayed longer. Long pull-throughs, wide sites, great Wi-Fi and cable. Owner super nice. I'd definitely stay again.
We were in the far lot which is a fairground parking lot (big gravel) with power pedestals. There was a small strip of grass nearby with signs that dog could not use. Nice fenced in pet area farther away. It's fine for an overnight stay.
Very nice park. Spacious pull thrus, gravel pads, and lots of grass and small trees. Free coffee and pastries in the morning. Very friendly staff. There's just not much to do in the area, is the only downfall. I would stay there again.
This is a very nice park. It does have, however, a lot of "out of control" kids (running through other RVers' sites, skateboards, some young girls ran through the mens bathroom while my husband was in it, etc.) and dogs not on leashes. I don't think I would stay here again because of it. Staff is very nice but late getting in in the morning and late coming back from lunch. Several RVs had to wait past the lunch hour to check in. Doesn't set a very good "tone".
NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY. Definitely have to unhook and can't make all the turns easily within the park. Most are impossible with a 40'. I think we are on the riverfront but a fence blocks the view. Really out of the way, not sure I'd stay here again. Lot of permanent "structures" of one sort or another. I wouldn't stay here again.
Great park. Everything's first class. 2 pools (unattended children there though), large laundry room, level and large sites and large concrete patios. Not much grass for dogs and hot pavement and rocks to get to the little bit of grass (slanted landscape for dog walk). Park empty when we were here can't imagine during peak season when it's full! Rate is Passport.
Owners are really nice and accommodating. Offered to take us to town if we didn't want to unhook. Said I could check in as early as I wanted (parks are empty around here) and we picked out our own site. The only negatives were there is not a lot of shade and it's hard for dogs. There is no grass and the rocks are hot. Saw a fenced in area but had to walk thru about 3" layer of "soot/dirt" to get to possible grass. I'd stay here again for an overnight.
Pull-through site for tows was barely long enough. Power issues--low power. New owners in the last two weeks. Can't sell propane yet, restaurant not open yet, until everything is "changed over". Just stayed one night. OK for an overnight.
Rate cited is with a Passport America discount (use any day of the week) and Good Sam. We were located on row next to pool. Long enough but not wide enough. Our entire row was empty (except for us) and they put a motorhome right next to us. His slides went over our patio area. Wondered when they might mow. Dog area at one end of park, so you want to be close to that. There is an extremely bright light installed by the pool house and over our site. Kept me up the first night, used towels over windows next night. We stayed for 6 nights so no big problems. Laundry room hot and temps were pleasant when we were there. I'd stay again.
I can't say enough about this park. We had one of two pull thru's (70' long, I think). Paved, large gravel area next to coach with covered picnic table, fire ring. Deer all over the place. We initially booked for two nights and I immediately booked two additional. Large spacious sights. Price reflects the Senior Pass, otherwise it's $22/night. Highly recommend this park! One of my favorites so far!
Lots of shade. Well kept (they mow all the time). Gravel and grass sites and mostly level. Most are pull thru's. Park manager very nice and runs a nice park. 4 or 5 private baths with shower. Lots of nearby restaurants, shopping, etc. Highly recommend. Pet area and pavilion.
The park is a bit small for a 40' towing. We got into our site OK but getting out will be another thing. There's a tree with low branches that restricts you to exiting only one way. So keep that in mind when parking, rather than slanting the way the lot slants. Very little gravel, not level. When checking in I was only informed of the restaurant and laundry, so I guess that's all there is? Laundry not very clean, one dryer broken but only 75 cents. A sign by the restrooms in laundry says to use the restroom on your RV, not those. They are reserved for the Yacht Club members. Pricing wrong on the website. Other than that, it's OK for the money. Not much view of the Lake at least where big rigs park. Just informed that cable TV wire was run a few years ago but never hooked up.
