The rate reflects a winter discount that was applied. We stayed here March and April. They have an additional fee for having children, but there were no amenities for children in the park. The general appearance of the park was gravel and rock with very little mature trees and no landscaping. The roads were a little tricky to navigate because they were not clearly marked. At night it is really dark there and difficult to find your spot with no markers on the roads. The sites themselves were gravel sites with a small patch of grass and weathered picnic tables. There was one small tree at our spot, more toward the front of the RV. The size of the sites were generous, but they were not level at the time of our stay. It had 30amp and 50 amp electric. We used the 50amp, which worked fine. They said there was free WiFi, but we were not able to connect to it while we were there. When we did hook up to the water, it was necessary to use a regulator to adjust the water pressure so that it was consistent. They have two bathhouses. One is in the middle of the park for convenience, but it is closed during their off months. The other one is in the same building as the front office. We found the facilities to be extremely dirty and unkempt. The shower stalls offered very little privacy and they had a problem with flooding. To help that, they posted signs, but there was still flooding. The lights in the bathroom cannot be set to stay on and they do not have a sensor in the back with the showers, so they can turn off while you are in the shower. We used lamps to help with that. They do have a television room with chairs and books you can check out. It was closed for part of the time we were there. They also have a little store there that they were stocking up for the busy months. Other than that, there are no amenities in the park. Overall, I was not impressed with the facilities of the park. We would not stay here again, especially not during the "off season".

We had a difficult time getting a rate from this location. We chose this KOA because it was right in the middle of town. We eventually received our rate from the manager which included a discount for a hospital stay that I was to be in town for. However, in order to receive that rate, I was asked to provide a copy of my Surgery Report. They do have nice sites, mature trees, and level lots. Due to the reservations of specific spots we were going to have to move several times during our stay if we stayed long term as intended. So, we made the decision to look elsewhere for the long term stay because we had no interest in moving the RV every couple of weeks. I would probably give it another try if I was pulling through again. I would definitely call in advance for a reservation though. The convenience of the location is just too hard to pass up and if you are going to be in town for a medical procedure and can provide documentation, they work closely with the hospital to give medical rates.

We stayed here starting in May and won't be leaving until mid-September. The park is open from May to October. They have overnight spots, long-term spots, cabins, and tent camping. They are extremely family friendly, including your fur family. The registration process is a breeze and the sites are level. You can choose a site with cable, we did not. Internet is available for 48 hours free and then you can pay daily, weekly, or monthly for the service. There is the cutest little store there and it is stocked really well. The owner of the park gave us the grand tour when we got there and the workers are so friendly. The park really fills up most nights and yet it is still so quiet here! It's just lovely. They have very clean restroom and shower facilities and since there is a code to enter, they feel so safe too. They have wagon rides for the children every night, plus Yogi Bear actually walks around most evenings for a couple of hours. There are also frequent ice-cream socials and you can get huckleberry. As a matter of fact, they have a full huckleberry line in the store...syrup and everything. They also have a rock station which is my favorite place! The park is filled with birds too, which is so cool to watch if you are there at the start of the season when the babies are learning to fly. I absolutely have enjoyed being here so much! We will definitely be back next year! I highly recommend this park to anyone wanting to enjoy Montana for the summer months! Missoula is full of plenty of things to do too!

I was scheduled for surgery at a local hospital and my family and I made the decision to bring the RV over to stay for aftercare to make things easier. We started calling around about a week before we moved to the Missoula area. The difference in this park was evident from the first moment we got on the phone with them. They were courteous and actually seemed to genuinely want us to stay at their park. Other parks wanted medical "proof" to provide a medical discount, but Jim and Mary's offered us a medical rate without requiring us to jump through a bunch of hoops in what was already proving to be a very scary situation with the upcoming surgery. It was such a relief to have them walk us through everything so easily. They even held our spot with just a name and phone number. They made the reservation process so simple! When we finally arrived at the park, we were greeted with smiles and offers to help us in any way that they possibly could. I felt like I was staying with friends or family! The front office is just adorable with a wonderful little gift shop that is filled with items that are made right here in Montana. The park itself is full of beautiful trees and gorgeous flower gardens. The sites are wide with plenty of room to afford some privacy. It is so quiet and beautiful here. I just cannot say enough good things about this park. I would highly recommend it to anyone. They'll even help you plan activities while you are here in Missoula! If you want to stay with friends, stay with Jim and Mary!
