The park was very nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. Someone escorted us to our site that overlooked the "lake" more like a large pond, but still very nice. Two complaints, first there was a $10 per person charge because there was live entertainment the weekend we were there. Second and the largest, there were many seasonality there that had dogs that barked all the time. At one point there were 3 different sites with dogs all barking and no owners trying to keep them quite. This was a very big turn off. I would have no problem returning to camp if it weren't for the dogs--not sure if we will return or not.

This is a park with lots of noisy, rowdy seasonals. The sites are very close together. Not sure if there are adults that work in the campground as I never saw one. Each time I went to the camp store, it was two teen aged boys that helped me, this included our checking in. When we arrived, I went to the store to find the door locked (even though it was in the middle of their “open” time). There was an “intercom” button that I guess alerted the boys by walkie talkie. I am not sure as they never answered my “hello” they just showed up on a tractor, with walkie talkies in hand. I don’t know how well the store was stocked, as I felt I was an inconvenience to the boys being in the store. You are issued an access card to reenter the park and if you arrive back later than mid-night, you are not allowed back in and have to park you vehicle and walk back to your site. I assume this is to keep light levels down, but this does not prevent the seasnonals from driving around the campground after midnight, than happed while we were there. The Wi-Fi worked fine with a nominal fee, $2.00 per day. We will not stay here again.

Very clean and well maintained RV Park, but we found it to be on the expensive side. The campground is a l family park, but when we were there, some of the other campers didn’t adhere to their quite times. They provide shuttle service throughout the park and to the nearby outlet center and you can take a connector to the local Six Flags. They have Wi-Fi, but charge for it, $5.00 for 48 hours. I thought this would be provided as a free service, giving the price per night they charge. Also, we could hear the near by road at all hours of the night. It is only one of a couple of ways for truck traffics to gain access to the interstate. Probably won’t stay here again because of the price.

We stayed here 8 nights and we chose to camp here because and it is the closest to the battlefield. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions and accepted both my Good Sam and Camper USA discount cards (my nightly rate includes the extra charge for the two other adults that were with us). There was a nightly movie but we did not attend and an ice cream social on the Saturday we arrived. We did not use the pool, but it appeared well maintained. The bath houses could be updated but were clean. The laundry room had washer and dryers on the new side, no change machine in the laundry area though, if you will need change, must go to camp store. Wi-Fi was great and Free and they were installing more antennas for those sites that were having problems getting a good connection. It was a quiet and relaxing campground with a catch and release pond. The camp store was basic, but had the connector that we needed for our sewer hoses and much lower cost than my camping supply store at home... I would recommend seeing the Diorama (free as a camper) before touring the battlefield if you know little about the battle of Gettysburg. There is a great little fruit and vegetable stand almost with in walking distance. We will stay again.
