Friendly helpful staff, who make their guests feel welcome. Great location near South Lake Tahoe and activities. Shady sites with huge trees include BBQ, fire pit, and table. Sites are close together, but campers are polite about being quiet. Well equipped store. Clean place. Expensive. Their rates go up quite a bit on a holiday weekend. Free wi-fi is limited to one hour a day. Extra time must be purchased and it is extremely slow. No 50 amp sites. Laundry is fine. Dryers are not very efficient. Road noise at night. With the stream and forest in the rear of the facility, it's got a nice forest feel. The sign is a little bit back from the road and we missed it and had to double back. Would stay here again.
Dirty, noisy, incredibly crowded. Many large fire ant hills in the site. No shade as promised. No fire pit as promised. No 50 amp hookup as promised. Staff was rude, reluctant to help when we asked. Made fun of our name, laughed at us when we tried to rectify the situation. Sites are dirt, lots of dust, no grass. Hard to maneuver a large rig to sites, which are not well marked. Would never stay here again.
Wonderful RV park in the middle of the redwoods. Park is clean and quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a small laundry room. there is an open area to play horseshoes or just enjoy the view. Sites are spacious. Location is convenient to Crescent City, redwoods, and Oregon border. A great place to stay in the redwoods.
We stayed here when a reservation for a different RV park fell through. Skyline is very convenient to Napa/Sonoma wineries, activities, and highways. It is clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. The sites and road are gravel and level. This was not a problem for us. We had shade throughout the day. Our site had 50 amp full hookups. The sites are very close together yet it was not a problem because other campers were respectful of the closeness and it was quiet. We had a view of the mountains and trees. We would stay at Skyline again as our first choice.
