We stopped here while traveling from Florida to North Carolina. We were met by very friendly staff. We were given our cookies. She showed us to our site. The site was level. All sites are shaded and have a picnic table. Close to I-75, you can hear the traffic but it is not annoying. The bathrooms are clean and met our needs. This is a nice campground. We would stay here again.
We stayed here one night on a trip home from NC. The campground is easy on/off from I-75. You can hear I-75, but it is not bothersome at all. The staff is excellent and very friendly. We were escorted to our site, a pull through. Most, if not all, sites are pull through. The campground is shaded with pecan trees. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and had great A/C. The shower was great. It was clean and had very good water pressure. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The site we had was level, and we did not have to disconnect the tow vehicle. Yes, there were gnats. They were friendly and did not bite like the no see ums we have in Florida. Later in the evening we sat outside and were not bothered by them. I was told by the staff that the gnats are here until September. Hey, gnats have to live somewhere, too. We will stay here again.
We stopped here for one night. Easy on/off I-85. You can hear the road noise but it is not bothersome. The park is close to the beautiful town of Auburn and of course the Tiger stadium. Many sites are booked for football season. Staying here on a game weekend might be a hoot but hard to get in. The owner and his son are very friendly and helpful. We needed a pressure regulator and the owner's son drove all over town to find us one even after I told him we could fill our freshwater tank. He loaned it to us free of charge. The park is shady and a little hilly. The park was clean and well kept. It was nice to have garbage cans located on poles at each site that were checked and dumped daily. We would come back again and spend a few days exploring the area and downtown Auburn.
We stayed here 1 night. Easy on/off from I-10. You can not hear any road noise. The site we stayed in backed up to the water and was level. We had a beautiful view of the water while sitting on our picnic table. The park was clean and well kept. Even though we did not use it the pool it looked inviting and was very clean. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and had great air conditioning. There were some permanent RV's but the park was mostly transient as most sites were empty for our stay. The owners were very friendly. We would stay again and next time bring our fishing poles. Very nice place to stop for the night while traveling on I-10.
