This is a very nice campground in a rural setting less than a mile from exit 13 on I-88. They have many large pull-through sites both wooded and open. We had a wooded site and they just added cable TV to many sites at the front of the park. Roads are level with fresh gravel. Restroom was clean with free hot showers. We had a great weekend and extended our stay to visit the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame. The park has some seasonals who are very friendly and we met many of them at the Saturday night pot luck dinner. The park has a large in-ground pool which they were preparing to open when we visited. Great spot for an overnight stop or vacation. We will stay here again.
Stayed here for a night the place is under new owner's. But it need's a lot of work, it's run down a lot. We pulled in and it had a few camper's here, lot of space's but we still got put in one that was very muddy and wet. We stayed at PA rate.
We stayed here a month. I was going to leave but it was close to family. It is one of the worst places I have stayed at. We arrived and there was no one to help use find our site or a number to call to get help. The phone just rang and rang. So we found our site which had no picnic table. It was very, very hard to back into the small site. The people that live here all the time told me people steal things. When we did ask for a picnic table, we waited all day and never got one. When I did get some one in the office, all I was told was that everyone left, so you won't get one today. I didn't get one the next day and ended up going to get one myself. The wi-fi is very bad. I went and bought a MiFI just so I could use the internet. I would never stay here again.
