Large, well maintained campground. Friendly staff. Nice sites. Loads of amenities. Never could get wifi to connect. Only real issue was that of the dust coming off the gravel roads. Our site was on one of the main loop roads and there was a lot of campground traffic plus in-campground construction traffic all day, causing a constant cloud of dirt. It would be nice to have something sprayed to help keep this down a bit. If you go and plan on visiting the city, I recommend taking the commuter train from Mansfield. We had one day where there was NO parking at the T stations at Quincy or Braintree. No issue parking at Mansfield.
Nice sites, friendly staff. The campground was extremely busy during our stay. The restrooms require more frequent cleaning during these times, and preferably not mid-morning when people are still trying to get into the shower and restroom. They were very clean the first day of our arrival when the campground was not as busy. Showers are fifty cents for seven minutes. There was a charge for Wi-Fi, so we did not try it. We would stay here again.
Nice, well kept park. Friendly owners. Sites are narrow but manageable. Very clean shower house. I would have rated it a 10, but we were never able to connect to Wi-Fi, and it is advertised as being available at the campsites.
We loved it here! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The restrooms were extremely clean and the shower water was hot. There are no amenities, but we spent most of our time out and about, so we didn't miss them. The only reason I didn't give this campground a 10 was because of the size of our sites. We had a motor home and a travel trailer. The site the MH was on had a tree, so the slide couldn't be extended. The site the TT on was so close to the staff member on the site next to us that we couldn't put our awning out. Also, the pull-thru sites really aren't pull-thru as we both had to back out to leave our sites. WiFi and cable worked very well! We would stay here again.
Nice, large campground. We stayed on a deluxe pull thru site which had a swing and concrete patio. WiFi was completely non-existent during our stay. This is very frustrating when you advertise WiFi! The restrooms were clean, and we had hot water. The pool is nice, but unfortunately, too many unsupervised kids were there. Diving into and running around the pool made it very unnerving. A little supervision of the pool would be appreciated - not lifeguard, but policing the unsupervised kids. I was also put-off by staff members washing mop heads and rags in the guest laundry. there were people waiting for machines. I think the price was high for what we had, but believe that is typical for this area. We would probably not stay here again on a future visit
Difficult to get to! The directions say to make a "protected left", but there is no way you can make a u turn in a big rig or travel trailer at that intersection. Something different needs to be figured out here. It is right off the interstate though. We booked pull through sites, but when we got there and they took us to our sites, we were told there is only one real pull through site and it is in the older part of the campground. We were traveling in a travel trailer and a motor home, so we had two sites. One of the sites opened up onto mounds of dirt. There was no grass at all, and the picnic table was in the fresh dirt. The other site backed up to a monthly efficiency rental type facility, with no fencing separating the campground. The restrooms were very clean and had nice, hot water. There was no electrical outlet near the sinks, however, which makes it impossible to use a hair dryer and curling iron in the bathroom. That may sound minor, but I don't think I have ever been where you couldn't see a mirror from the electrical outlet. The campground works for a quick overnight, but I would not recommend it for any longer. The staff was very friendly though, and that helped us feel a bit better about the stay.
Very friendly staff. Clean showers (25 cents for 7 minutes). Nice area. Our site was very close to our neighbors. There was approximately 3" between our slide and the neighbor's slide. No campfire was possible, as the fire ring was under a slide. We would stay here again, but would request a different site as they do have sites with more space.
Very nice campground. There are a lot of activities for kids. Sites were long enough that we did not have to unhook, which is very welcome on overnighters. Showers are nice, staff is friendly. My only complaint is Wi-Fi - it is non-existent. I went to ask in the office, and the response was "we have three towers, you shouldn't have a problem". We tried on multiple devices and could not pick up Wi-Fi on any of them. We would stay here again.
